We first decided on furniture for the space when I saw the Asher bedroom set by Rowe Concepts and envisioned the space. The rest of this beautiful furniture I designed from Asher has a mid-century modern elegance, with rose gold handles on the dressers and nightstands. Rowe Concept creates simple and clean pieces that suit almost any style. I chose the Asher White Dresser because we didn’t have a closet in our old house so it was the perfect piece of furniture to store our extra clothes as well. Asher bedside tables come in two styles; I went for a two drawer design to keep clutter to a minimum on a shelf or two drawers because I think maximizing storage space is always best! The quality of the furniture is what I would expect and the Asher bed is low to the floor making this space easily accessible to everyone, even friend Holly who is staying at home. Wait, is that the guest room or friend Holly’s room?!

When deciding on a wall color for the guest bedroom, white was the obvious choice to convey the Scandinavian hygge vibe I was aiming for! But shades of white?! In fact, white is such a compelling color that you don’t realize how many options there are, and each shade looks so different when you put them side by side. We decided to stick with this one as well as I absolutely love the all white color of Barrow and Ball in the bathroom and ceiling. All white is what it says, it has no other tone than white! We painted both the ceiling and walls white for a seamless look, especially when the old plaster walls are seamless. We chose gray and white for the paneling and used a fur and ball weave. Finally, like the rest of the inner door of the house, we stopped at the pharaoh’s breath and ball mole.
This braided elephant wool rug is a great budget find! Unlike other rugs, it is made from 100% wool. I was a bit worried about the quality as it was an online order but it is perfect it is my first piece from RUGS USA and now I am loving the same for the master bedroom, the knitted wool looks so cozy and has really helped pull that wander mood together
Keep the decor very simple and eclectic as you don’t want the guest room to be cluttered or empty. I decorated the bed with gray linen pillows my mom made and stuffed wicker baskets with Pendleton wool blankets to keep guests cool at night! The beautiful gray wool blanket on the bed is from Ireland, my parents brought it for me on a trip to Ireland last autumn.
In the end, instead of hanging tons of wall art, I left the woven cartoons on the ivory bed frame and kept the walls clean. I bought it at the local store Oliver and Rust. If you haven’t noticed on my Instagram feed, I love this shop and am so happy to be gone! I also saw ivy plants and concrete planters there

Credit for this beautiful bathroom The previous owner had already done a beautiful renovation with a marble shower and custom marble vanity. This is one of the features of the house that caught my eye. It’s the only full bathroom in the house, but like every couple on hgtv, I never thought of a suite. A full bathroom with bath and shower was plentiful! Who wants to clean multiple bathrooms? Not me. I wanted to change a few small things in the room and personalize it with my own touch

When it comes to the original color of the room, powder blue wall paint (or whatever), I don’t care about the color, so I knew I wanted to make it white. We actually drew it twice! The first color I chose turned out to be terrible, it had a brownish tint and looked like off-white. Away and the ball to the rescue! I was talking to my friend about the white dream lifestyle and it seems he did his research when it came to finding shades of white. I didn’t want one, so she suggested her favorite color
! All white Parvone and Ball in Estate Emulation It’s clean, bright and has the perfect rad finish to match the rest of the house. I’ve stuck to the Parvone and Ball weave, which is actually darker than the walls, a light gray. You might not notice it in another room, but if you set it to a clean white you’ll eventually see a gray cast! Finally I painted the doorstep and the mole’s breath on the sphere to bring in the gray and bring out those marble veins.
The previous lighting in the room was very classy and classy, but I’m leaning towards a more school/industrial vibe. The mirror is a large frameless mirror and I have no intention of changing it but we do.
