This creamy white is versatile. We used it in the living room and dining room, which are opened to each other with decorative wooden columns. Our living room faces north and doesn’t get much sun, while our dining room faces south and gets a lot of sun.

I love this color so much that I actually used it in three separate rooms: the sun room (pictured above), the boys’ playroom, and now our bedroom. It’s a cool white that looks good in any lighting condition and blends well with any room decor.

It is versatile. I recommend this color to many clients and I’ve seen Serena and Lily also use it in their showrooms as it matches their wallpaper and furniture so well. I’m actually thinking of painting part of John’s room this color.

The kids’ shared bedroom was also painted this color (a north-facing room), so it really helped brighten the space.

I use a neutral white when working on wallpaper in our home and our clients’ homes, wide open spaces, large rooms and accent wall. I use neutrals when I want a quiet, calm space or when I want a light bounce. For example, our bedroom is very dark, but the light color of Simply White brings in the light.

I like a very comfortable room. Imagine an office, a small bedroom, a small bathroom. Bold and dark colors look great in these cases. I think it all depends on how you want your room to feel. If you want to feel comfortable and have a room that feels like a hug, go for it.
