The first thing you should do when choosing the color you want to paint the outside of your house is to choose the first shade of color. When I say shade, I mean do you want a soft, light or dark body tone in your home? At this point, you don’t have to think about anything other than deciding whether you want light or white, midtone or midtone, or whether you want dark.

For many of you, choosing a shade is an easy decision to make and you immediately know whether you want a light or dark house.
