Our front door was previously painted Benjamin Moore Hale Navy. I really like the color, but it feels a little dark in our entryway that doesn’t get much natural light. The door also took a bit of a beating when we remodeled the kitchen last summer and needed a new color regardless. I decided to go with a muddy blue gray with a hint of green (as opposed to purple). Something that is calm and relaxing and reminds me of the beach, but without it, the “baby” blue is not enough. And while I use blue-gray in many coastal rooms, the shade would be just as beautiful in more modern spaces!
