20 By 40 Tent Capacity
20×40 frame tent rentals are perfect for graduations, corporate events, parties, outdoor parties, anniversary parties, and more. Our boards are longer than our roof tents because the center sweep starts 8 feet from the top, not down to the top of the tent (branches). This helps to increase the usable space under the tent without working around the central pole.

The tent is 800 square feet and can accommodate an 8-by-60-inch round table or a 12-by-8-foot banquet table with chairs (click to view chair rental catalog). This includes the ability to comfortably seat 64 people (round tables) or 96 people (banquet tables). Remember that not all your guests will eat at the same time, so if you are planning a party for 70 to 80 people (round tables) or 100 to 110 people (banquet tables), the 20 × 40 tent is still an available option. .

Frame tents have interior walls with no poles between them. We put it 3′ around and need an area of 23′ x 43′ x 16′. If we cannot use posts, we will use 18 – 440 # anchors (concrete or water barrels) instead.

Frame tents require 10 pounds of resistance per square foot in most districts. Water barrels and/or concrete anchors will be required and will be charged extra. We recommend that you fill the barrel with water and throw it at the tent site.
The rental price of the marquee does not include tables, chairs and parts of the marquee. If you need tables, chairs and marquee pieces, you can order a la carte.
We do not recommend putting asphalt in your residential area, but we can do it in commercial areas with the consent of the client or site. For your convenience, we include arrangements and discounted tent rental rates. However, shipping, handling and taxes are additional.
We install frame tents with 42″ pitches that are pushed into the ground. We can fill holes with blacktop after deducting a fee of $5 per hole. Please make sure that all private lines, sprinkler systems, geothermal or other ground lines marked below before installation. If you have subway lines, please notify the Academy Rental Team prior to your event.

Rooftop tents are different from planks because a central plank supports the tent from the bottom to the top of the tent. In other words, the wood supports the tent where each 10-foot span meets. The 20×40 Rooftop Tent has 12 1/2 long poles to support the top of the tent (see product photos for details).
