Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter Bedroom – We’ve been stuck in the house with rain the last few days, so we made some progress on our last job of painting the carpet and bathroom. Here’s a picture of how we ended up with the room, complete with a stenciled floor and what we’re talking about now, Reverend Peter by Benjamin Moore on the walls. But let’s look at it. Start by painting the lotion white (we used a semi-gloss white like the rest of the house finish).
Part of me hates to minimize the time it takes for this job by just sharing a before and after picture that shadows the process. All it took was one primer and 2 coats of paint (all applied with a brush) and two sherris and I was off and running. I started because it is not as VOC free and painted the part and then when that layer dried we worked the paint around the wide door of the room and a small area on the baseboard.

Then came cutting into the wall painting style and finishing seemed like child’s play. Many perspectives.
Paint Colors In My Home
I don’t usually talk about painting (except painting the ceiling), but painting the walls is usually the “fun part” for us. I think if you go into a project thinking “this will be quick and easy” it’s a slippery slope. But it was definitely one of those little areas where we got frustrated and said, “Let’s get this done in an hour or two,” and it ended up being 2 hours within a few days. The facility is complete.
The color we chose was River Pewter, which is a light to medium color that is a favorite of many on Pinterest. Our brains also refuse to see “River Pewter,” so we don’t call it “River Pewter”—even though the guy on the palette says, “Oh, you mean the river.”
You may remember that we threw out this “Percolating in Progress” post right after we moved in with some initial thoughts on paint colors. For the bathroom and our walk-in closet, we wanted something soft (neither of these rooms have windows), but not too bright.
At first we were chasing Pismo Dunes and Gray Owl (both below), but ended up enjoying the colors in River Pewter, which would be a combination of the two. It is almost the same as Edgecomb Gray Black (less brown than Pismo Dunes and slightly richer and less gray than Gray Owl).
Best Neutral Paint Colors To Sell Your House
We really liked how it dried. Taupe-y in some lights (like this shot). Gray ash in other people (as below). It changes throughout the day and goes really well with the deep dark gray (black pepper) in our bedroom.
And we decided to paint the ceiling like the walls here. We’ve learned in small spaces that it makes the room feel less cramped if the ceiling and walls are the same color (provided it’s not too dark in color) because it’s just slanted / pushed together / cramped. The place seems broken. In a box
And like other rooms we’ve painted, after the paint dried, I took the opportunity to go over all the light switches and outlets, from the old cream variations to pure white. This picture is a bit dark (hello black hole cabinet) because I turned off the power, but it really shows the variety of Chameleon’s own wall colors in different lighting.
Even with the lights, the dark color of the walls would be a nice backdrop to highlight the shape of the mirror (and all our painted decorations pop well too). We still have a lot to do here, but here’s a bit of a difference between where we started (well, when the curtain was pulled up) and where we are now.
Stenciling With Benjamin Moore’s Five Favorite Grays
With all the walls painted we can now play with the floor (I don’t really think I’m using the right color) which is the part we’re most excited about, well right now it is. . All signs indicate that this flooring will be done before we complete the exterior tiling.
Oh, and as we predicted in this post about our bathroom plans (where you can also read why the floor was left unpainted, how we want the vanity Add shelves to balance it out, etc.) So we changed our minds.
After a few more hides, we were concerned that the navy blue on the vanity wouldn’t go too well with our yellow sink tiles and thought we might have more fun with the entire floor than painting it all one color. Put it together…
So today we think a two-tone stencil on the floor and a more muted color on the dresser can work well with the tone above the sink without creating tension (rather than focusing on the vanity). shift) just bring your attention to the floor).
