Egg, satin or semi-gloss finish allows you to clean the surface when dirty. A good quality interior acrylic paint works well for this.
For my project I use colors from the garage. It is Benjamin Moore’s eggshell of the white dove.
Eggshells are great because they can be washed without leaving the surface shiny. Thin paint or chalk paint cannot be washed off. Personally, I’m not keen on semi-gloss colors.
