Chip And Joanna Gaines Silos – We visited The Cellos at Magnolia Market (owned by Chip and Joanna Gaines of HGTV’s Fixer Upper) for Celebration, a weekend full of family fun in Waco, Texas that includes live music concerts, food trucks , vendor fairs, lawn games, delicious baked goods included. . , shopping, and more!
Last week I took a quick business trip to Texas that included a road trip from Dallas to Austin. Along the way, my friends and I decided to stop at Magnolia Market and Cellos in Waco, and we were happy to find out that it was the weekend of the annual Celebration event! The event features three days of live music, vendors, food trucks, and presents

We started visiting Magnolia Market, and it was full of people at the celebration event. This store is full of all kinds of amazing things, but the checkout line wrapped around the entire store, so I skipped the souvenirs this time. I will be ordering from the online store now that I’m back!

Gray is my favorite color for walls, so I am very impressed with the new trendy gray paint colors.
If I had room in my suitcase, I would have waited an hour in the huge checkout line to bring home these two “vintage” signs – one for me, and one for my mom (who is vintage chalk Painted furniture runs in the name store! ). Unfortunately, Magnolia’s online store only sells size XL, but in store they have many different size options.
This corner of the market, the “Chip Corner,” is dedicated to guys and whatever they want on “Demo Day.”
Outside of Magnolia Market, the grounds of the Silos are filled with all kinds of vignettes and beautiful garden views.
See Inside Chip And Joanna Gaines’ Bakery At Magnolia Silos
Silos is also home to Silos Baking Company, Joanna’s newest bakery. I heard they have the best pancakes around, but again, the line was pretty long, and since we just stopped by on our road trip, we didn’t have an hour to wait to try them. I would love to go back and visit again to get the full Magnolia experience with a normal sized crowd instead of the heavy event traffic during the day!
The “park” in front of the silo is a large artificial lawn filled with beanbag chairs, hula hoops, footballs, and frisbees. It was great to see so many families participating in the activities and having fun on the big lawn!
Magnolia Seed + Supply is home to a large silage garden and my favorite place is there. I always feel at home in a park, and this park is amazing!
I never knew how much I loved ornamental cabbages until I visited the land of Silos! They are beautiful!
Inside Chip And Joanna Gaines’ Magnolia Empire
Outside in the garden, people gather under covered canopies and sit on the large patio to enjoy live music and delicious food from a variety of food trucks.
We enjoyed visiting the Silos and Magnolia Market, but I’m not going to lie, the Texas heat was hot that day, and we were literally freezing by the time we got back on the road for the rest of our trip. Travel! I highly recommend stopping by for a visit (it lives up to the hype!), but unless you’re a big fan, I recommend visiting on a non-event day. We were there in the afternoon, so we missed some of the special evening tours, but the evening ended with a Johnny Swim concert and an appearance by Chip and Joanna themselves – so much fun!

Since first appearing on HGTV in 2013, Chip and Joanna Guinness have taken the country by storm. They just put Waco, Texas on the map as a tourist destination. He brought the word “shipple” into our everyday vocabulary. And they’re the epitome of #relationshipgoals with their hilarious and outspoken devotion to each other and family.
Starting with Flip, the cute couple built an empire worth millions. However, they are so genuine, down to earth and so amazing that we can’t help but be jealous. Check out the amazing empire that this couple designed.
In all their endeavors, nothing is more important to Chip and Joanna than their children. The family lives on a 40-acre farm outside of Waco, Texas.

“Family is the most important thing in the world,” Joanna told People. He also said that his fifth child, baby Crewe, gave him a second wind.
Before becoming a household name, Chip and Joanna were involved in remodeling and design. They built their first house in 2003 as newlyweds. Today, they prefer to design and build homes from the ground up, like the modern farmhouse that Joanna shared on Instagram.
In 2003, a young, anonymous couple attempted to renovate a dilapidated 1930s house in Waco for another family. And, boy, did they succeed. Soon many viewers watched Chip and “Jojo” work their makeup magic for five seasons until they announced their farewell to the show.
While fans wonder where to right the ship, HGTV has announced a new show. “Fixer Upper: Behind the Design” debuted in March 2018. The spin-off takes viewers behind-the-scenes with extremely rare, never-before-seen footage along with favorite edits.

In 2015, Chip and Joanna introduced the world to their latest renovation. The couple purchased the property along with two abandoned cotton seed silos and a 20,000-square-foot barn. They turned the Waco landmark into a store where visitors could buy items for their homes. Not only did she like the rural look of the property, but she also appreciated the proximity to her children’s school.
Sellers of silos can enjoy sweet treats at the nearby bakery. The bakery opened in 2016, serving drinks and baked goods, such as vanilla-on-vanilla “shiplap cupcakes.” Of course, the bakery also has Joanna’s design touch.
Before Silo became a shopping center, Joanna had a grocery store. Called The Little Shop in Bosque, the couple bought the store in 2003. As you can see in the Instagram post below, Joanna previously sold home decor and fashion accessories at the store, which has now been outgrown, closed or damaged.
In 2018, the Guinness family opened a restaurant, Magnolia Table. The restaurant serves breakfast and lunch with classic and modern dishes, such as buttermilk biscuits with sausage sauce and lemon lavender donut holes. Ingredients come from Joanna’s garden on the farm as well as from local vendors.

Shortly after opening the restaurant, Joanna published a cookbook of the same name. Like everything we do, the recipes are a mix of traditional and modern cuisine, typical ingredients. Joanna’s inspiring stories and inspiring photos don’t hurt either.
In 2017, Chip and Joe partnered with Target stores to create the Heart & Hand product line. Home furnishings and home decor items are housed in 12-foot-tall residential structures in some stores. The product line includes everything from stoneware to Christmas decorations to pajamas for the whole family.
For fans who want more details about the life of the husband and wife team, the couple has written a book with the help of author Mark D’Agostino. The autobiography tells the story of their lives, how they got to their current success. Reading brings his personal life to life, including memories, ups and downs, and even forgetting to pick up a sleeping baby when Chip runs into the store.
Books are coming, but it’s from Chip’s point of view
