In contrast, classic gray is warm and welcoming. You can almost imagine it as a soft and delicate off-white. Sometimes you can see that it looks white when the sunlight is right. As soon as the light changes, you get that warm gray again.

What does LRV mean?LRV is the light reflectance value of a color on a scale from 0 (pure black) to 100 (pure white). Basically, colors with an LRV rating closest to 0 are darker, while numbers closer to 100 are lighter.
Classic Gray paint has a Light Reflectance Value (LRV) of 74. This means it is more off-white than true gray. If you put it in a room with lots of natural light, it might look like a muted white. However, if you put it with a plain white trim, you can see the difference.
