River Pewter is a popular neutral gray paint color. This is a cool, warm paint color with just enough depth to keep it from escaping, without getting dark in most rooms.

River Pewter is a favorite in the staging world. It’s not a true gray but it’s not quite a beige either, it’s a warm neutral that gives the walls a fresh look and a real take on the white decor (for the colors on the page). Best white decor, see this post). This beautiful neutral works in many rooms: bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms for an airy look when combined with other neutrals and whites, a softer look with blush, pink or spa colors, and a sophisticated and elegant look mixed with rich blacks. Or wood tones and a tailored look combined with classic red and nautical color.
The constellation is a complex pale blue, which is perfect if you want a soft blue sky. It leans slightly towards a warmer blue/blue than ocean blue/lavender, and it won’t have the same strong look as the sky blue you’re trying to achieve. It is another versatile color for both public and private spaces and is a color that evokes water and sky.
This is my favorite of the light greens. Again, the complex shade is closer to the warmer/yellow side of the green spectrum than the blue/sage side. And green is nature’s ultimate neutral color! This shade works well with garden color combinations, warm rich wood tones and other shades of green and blue! This is the color we use in our One Room Challenge bedroom “The Diva’s Vintage Glamor Den” which will feature an English garden meets elegant Victorian beauty!
