Joanna Gaines Top Paint Colors – “Fixer Upper: Welcome Home” premiered its first season exclusively on Discovery+, giving fans of the popular home renovation show a preview of the much-anticipated Magnolia Network launch later this year, which was delayed due to coronavirus restrictions. Every episode of the show has featured beautiful renovations, and there’s no doubt that Joanne Gaines’ color choices played a big role.

The first four episodes of the series featured seven colors of Joanna Gaines Magnolia’s house paint, from the bold colors seen in the first episode to the warm neutrals at the end. So if you want to follow suit this year and change things up, consider Ga’s color selection for your own home transformation.

The first phase features an earthy olive green called Market Place, which can add depth to interior and exterior walls, as well as a darker green called Locally Grown. This moodier green is paired with Blanched – a warm beige that brings warmth to the space – which was also seen in episodes two and three. Last but not least is Prairie Smoke (also seen in Phase II), an almost black shade with warm green undertones that can be used on accent walls for an elegant finish.

Of The Best Paint Colors For The Whole House

In the third episode, a muted peacock blue appears. Called Secondhand Find, this paint color has the potential to add a contemporary feel to a variety of spaces. Use it on a center wall or as a shade for those subtle details to complete more intricate designs.

The last phase is Silos White, a soft white with beige tones that brings warmth and light into the environment. And last, but certainly not least, is 1905 Green, a two-tone combination that Gaines drew while working on his cafe design concept. 1905 Green is a dark forest green with slightly jeweled tones that can add depth to walls. When you’re trying to redesign your home but can’t figure out which colors go well together, things can get a little frustrating. . Especially if you just bought a house and have 80’s floral wallpaper in every room like mine! Going back to the paint store with paint samples can also be a pain. I think every paint swatch I had was familiar to people as they tried to figure out the color of the paint. All I could do was browse Pinterest, find inspirational rooms and try to find similar ink. Of course, each color will look different in your room, but I think it’s much easier to imagine a color when you can see it on someone’s wall? And since I’m the biggest fan of fixer tops, I decided to put together some Joanna Gaines inspired whole house color schemes. So we’re going to talk about Joanna’s favorite paint colors and how she combines colors to create open, inviting and smoothly changing environments.

So first let’s talk about Joanna’s old favorite. First I want to share them because they are mine too. I have used these colors in my own home and I can say they are just as beautiful as a home fixer upper! At the beginning of the Fixer Upper show, Joanna really gravitated towards dusty blues and greens. Very bright, airy, chalet color, which is me! So here’s the whole upper home color scheme based on Joanna’s favorites!

Let’s start with the color of the trim. The easiest way to make your room more cohesive is to use a finishing color. Joanna often uses Sherwin Williams Alabaster for her fixtures and occasionally Sherwin Williams Pure White. Use one color to decorate your house and you will have a house where the rooms flow into each other.

How To Choose The Perfect Farmhouse Paint Colors

Every home needs a neutral wall color. Joanna likes to use gray in her home for the main living areas. Some of her favorites are Sherwin Williams Mindful Grey, Oyster Pearl and Passive Grey. Repose Gray is a lighter shade than Mindful and would look great in an open space. My friend chose this color for her open plan living and dining room and she loved it! Moving beautiful accent colors. Joanna says she really likes airy blues and greens. I can say without a doubt that Sherwin Williams Sea Salt is one of the most beautiful colors I have ever used. No wonder it’s such a popular color with Joanna and other designers. It’s the perfect blue green and looks great in any room. I use it in bathroom and laundry room renovations!

Sherwin Williams Comfort Gray is not quite gray in my opinion. This is another dusty blue green. And I fell in love! Joanna uses this color in living rooms and bedrooms that need a little bolder color, but this color is never overpowering! Perfect for a guest room or office.

The master bedroom is the perfect place for Sherwin Williams Intellectual Grey. This color has a nice warmth to it, especially against the wood floor. Joanna used this color for her bedroom and I can’t get enough! Be careful though, if your room doesn’t have natural light, this color could be wrong.
