For the basics, art paints are selected and milled using modern basket bead milling technology, in the same way as soft, heavy-bodied acrylics. The pigments are milled with small hardened ceramic beads to give good dispersion, excellent color development, strength and clarity, before being added to the acrylic emulsion.
