Well, maybe not a saga, but definitely a struggle to find the right gray paint color for my living room. Well friends, as I mentioned this week, it looks like I found the perfect gray color for my living room. It’s not what I originally thought or planned for, but I’m very happy with the result. A while ago, when I moved, my living room was painted beige. You can see it here: I decided to freshen things up with what I think is a light gray color. However, I found something that looked like baby blue. See below. (You can read more about that here.) After trying at least four other colors on the wall, I found something I liked: Sherwin Williams Agreeable Gray. Cozy gray: On the walls of my bedroom, a certain gray color looks like a stucco or mushroom gray. It makes me nervous because it’s not what I thought I wanted. However, I caught a Q&A that Nate Berkus was doing on his Instagram stories. In one of your answers, you mentioned that the brown/gray wall color works well with the emerald green couch. *Sigh* With that bit of wisdom and my lovely green chair looking at me, I set off. Luckily, I was able to retrieve a coat, so in about two hours, I finished the whole room. Farewell, bright gray blue. Hello, nice gray stock. Sherwin Williams Agreeable Gray is definitely a winner! Sherwin-Williams Agreeable Grey: It’s interesting how the wall color has a chameleon quality in this room. (I think because of the fire.) It changes every day and is always different on one wall compared to the other. But now I’m happy with how it looks from all angles. Also, as Nate predicted, it works well with the color of my chairs. I especially love how the pine collar goes on the mantel. (Please don’t judge me too harshly on the state of this room. After moving things around to paint and then getting ready for holiday decorating, it’s a bit of a mess. But that’s the -real life!) I still love my new blue entry way too! Well, I think I can finally call it a total win! It took me a few tries to get there, but I love the results. What do you think?

Best Colors That Go With Agreeable Gray For Your Home Decorating

Agreeable Gray has been described by many as “the perfect greige”, a color that hits all the notes and balances between gray and beige. Like all greige colors, the base of this is a warm gray and cream (dare I say it, get it?).
Don’t be fooled, though. Like all paint shades, SW Agreeable Gray will look different in every room due to different lighting. For example, if you paint a room that faces north, the color will be a gray color with fewer beige shades.
South-facing rooms or rooms with a lot of natural light will notice that the color tends to be a soft and warm gray, without the green materials more common in greige. Instead, it has a creamy, warm gray that is totally vibrant.
Farmhouse Dining Table In Agreeable Gray Room
If you are looking for some colors that work well with Agreeable Gray by Sherwin Williams, you definitely have options. The paint is neutral enough to work with almost any color.
If you’re looking for a completely different color that stands out in a fun way, try Sherwin Williams Coral Reef. It is a beautiful coral that gives a bright color.
Any idea is good, but let’s talk about some real world rooms with the best art displayed on the walls. As you can see, the color looks a little different in each room, but it always looks perfect no matter where you are.
This beautiful nursery stopped me in the middle of reading. How beautiful is the whole room from Honey We Made Home? The top half of the wall is Agreeable Grey, as are the black stripes on the ceiling. As you can see, the shade on the ceiling looks more purple than the wall, but both are neutral and nice. In case you are wondering, another shade available is Divine White by Sherwin Williams.
Sherwin Williams Agreeable Gray (why It’s So Popular)
You know I can’t finish a good nursery, so here’s another room featuring Agreeable Gray. This cute nursery from Leta Living has the perfect neutral background with wall paint; what is the gray cream on most of the walls here? After you get to the corner where the light is less, it is a blue/purple color similar to the room above.
The bedroom is undoubtedly a busy area of any home. That’s why I think it’s especially important to give a calm tone to the space by covering its walls with a color like our Vintage nest in this Greeable Gray living room.
Plus, it’s always fun to see how the same paint color looks in a living room with vastly different decor, like this traditional living room from our Southern Home SC. Like all the other examples, Agreeable Gray looks great in this space and works perfectly with the local style.
Let’s make another example of the living room so that we can compare the color of this room in Dar tal-Imglem with the others above. This room has very nice natural light which gives the painting its famous creamy grey.
Neutral Living Room Makeover
If you’re looking for another room that looks good with two coats of Agreeable Grey, try the dining room. While it works for any style, I especially love the farmhouse style dining room from Green With Decor.
