New concrete should be given sufficient curing time of one week to one month to reduce the water content and alkalinity to safe levels. Excess alkali should be neutralized with a concrete neutralizer. Allow the surface to dry completely. Remove dust if there are crystal deposits.

Apply (1) coat of Odorless Rain or Shine Fresco Antibacterial Paint or ROS-8000 Rain or Shine Elastoproofer as an antifouling primer.

Repair any minor surface defects with Rain or Shine Putty Putty (ROS-3000). Allow to dry, then sand. The drying time of putty “Ros-3000” depends on the thickness of the wet film of the applied coating.
Apply two coats of odorless Rain or Shine Fresco antibacterial paint. Allow 2-4 hours to dry between coats.
Remove any chips or peeling paint. Before repainting, clean and sand the old paint in good condition and remove dust.
