The old bricks of this house were damaged after being whitewashed five years ago. In fact, the exterior brick is similar to the left wash, but slightly darkened with signs of deterioration. As a result, we apply two excellent coats of architectural primer and quality exterior latex paint.
The color we chose for the bricks is snowflake. In fact, our design experts chose Snowbound (SW 7004) by Sherry Williams as their favorite exterior brick color of 2021.
We make this iconic brick white to match the smoky blue grilles and front doors (SW 7604). We used a powder blue color against the shutter black to coordinate with the existing copper gutters and downspouts. The before-and-after photos of the results look straight out of an HGTV makeover.

Finding the right color for this unpainted brick house was difficult. We need to find a shade of white that matches well with the black brick fireplace at the front of the house.
Finally, we decided to use Iceberg (SW 6798) as the white exterior paint color. For our trim color, we went with Tricorn Black. As a result, the new white paint on the side really stands out between the black trim and the bright green landscape. Undoubtedly, it is the post-modern revival that seems interesting.

To paint this exterior, we need to match the brick to the durable blue clapboard on the top half of the house. The main brick color is almost a pastel gray with a blue border. Recently pressure washed, we are showing the front brick as well as the unpainted back as it is in great shape.
As you can see, painting the brick blue to match the siding makes the house look bigger than it already is.
