The old brickwork of this house has deteriorated after being painted 5 years ago. In fact, the exterior brick is almost limestone, but somewhat faded with signs of decay. As a result, we applied a masonry primer and two coats of quality exterior latex paint.
The color we chose for the brick was Snowbound. In fact, our design experts have chosen Sherwin Williams Snowbound (SW 7004) as their preferred exterior color for 2021.
We paired this popular brick white with Smoke Blue (SW 7604) to match the shutters and front door. We used a dusty blue and black shutter paint to coordinate the existing copper gutters and downspouts. The resulting before and after photos look like they came straight out of an HGTV transformation.

Best Sherwin Williams Exterior Paint Colors 2021
It was difficult to find the right colors for this unpainted brick house. We had to find a shade of white that went well with the black brick fireplace at the front of the house.
In the end, we decided to use Iceberg (SW 6798) as our white exterior paint. For our finish color we used Tricone Black. As a result, the new white trim color stands out against the black trim and the lush green of the landscape. Without a doubt this was a postmodern restoration and it looked great.
This before and after painted brick is a real game changer. The previous bare, unpainted brick gave it a modern update, so we decided to paint it.
Our homeowner chose alabaster for the brick color of the house and paired it with Tricone black finishes. Both colors are incredibly popular exterior shades brought by Sherwin-Williams.
Paint Colors For Your White Brick House

For this exterior paint job, we had to match the brick with the existing blue skirt in the top half of the house. The current brick color is reminiscent of a pastel gray that clashes with the blue siding. Recently pressure washed, we have kept the front brick and part of the back unpainted as they are in excellent condition.
As you can see, painting the brick blue to match the siding made the house look bigger than before.
The custom brick paint color formula was James Hardie’s Night Gray to match existing composite decking. We combined the new brick wall color with white trim and painted the downspouts and gutters for added shine. We repaired the back balcony railings and front porch poles to complete the house’s exterior.

This ranch-style home previously had unpainted red brick. After a good wash, we masked the windows and outdoor furniture before painting the brick walls.
We painted the second floor brick and cedar shingles the same white. Sea Pearl by Benjamin Moore is a beautiful off-white with a hint of gray. In turn, this uniform coat made the house look bigger and more updated.
Last but not least, we painted the shutters, house numbers and front door a warm gray. The dark gray used was called Raccoon Fur (also a Benjamin Moore color). As a result, it paired well with the warm, creamy brick color as a sea pearl. This has resulted in a simple yet modern brick home that will be beautiful for years to come.
This Tudor-style brick home is ready for a fresh coat of paint to take it out of the stone age. The house was for sale and was in need of renovation. In turn, we found a white color that went well with the brown Tudor trim and painted the concrete sills to match them.
Brick And Paint Color Combos We Just Love
We chose Chantilly Lace by Benjamin Moore for the brick cladding, which goes well with the red underlays of the roof tiles. Of course, this house was one of our favorites and as a result the before and after photos are jaw-dropping. The increased curb appeal after painting resulted in a selling price of 18% of the asking price.

Our next exterior painting project was a textured brick house facade in need of renovation. We chose PPG’s Onyx Black as the brick color and Sherwin Pure White as the windowsill color.
The brick black color combined with the vibrant yellow front door really brought the house into a whole new light. For reference, the front door shade in the before and after photos of the house is a cheerful yellow (SW 6903).
