Modern Single Story House Plans
When you enter the house from the porch, you find yourself in the heart of the place. The dining room and the (vaulted) living room are open to each other, which allows for infinitely customizable furniture. The fireplace sets the tone for the room and the sliding doors open onto the terrace. Right next to the dining room is a U-shaped kitchen. Here the devices have to be accommodated and there is more shelf space. The corner room offers plenty of food and an island and a half connects the kitchen to the dining room.

On one side of this L-shaped house there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first bedroom is completely private at the front of the house, away from the noise of the apartment. It has a private bathroom and a large wardrobe. Between the two bedrooms is another bathroom with an electric shower.

Prairie home projects lead to success in the Midwest. A low, cantilevered ceiling opens up the floor plan, and many windows bathe every room in natural sunlight. But Carbondale reinterprets the prairie home with a few twists.
A sloped roof changes the sight line and adds a modern feel to this two-story exit, designed low with a view. Stone veneer columns border the front door and upper windows.
Inside, a door to the left of the vaulted hall opens to an opening with windows to the front and sides, making it an ideal guest suite, office or library. The room has two wardrobe doors, a full bath is nearby.
Based on the floor plan, the forum first opens into a well-vaulted living room, which flows seamlessly into the kitchen and dining area. Removing the walls opens it up into a shared space that encourages cooking, eating and relaxing in front of the great room fireplace. The kitchen has an island and cabinet space that wraps around two walls, as well as a pantry. Windows spread sunlight into the living room, dining room and kitchen.

Step out of the great room through the sliding glass doors to see more of the back deck. A dramatic cantilever roof protects this raised deck from the elements. The balcony that runs the length of the house is designed to offer expansive views just a few steps away from its warm interior.

On the right, the front door opens into two bedrooms, which are separated by a shared bathroom. These bedrooms are located one floor above the owner’s suite on the other side of the house, ensuring privacy for the owners.

The dimensions of bedroom 1 are 4.9 × 3.5 meters with the ceiling, the dimensions of bedroom 2 are 3.7 × 3, 5 meters with wardrobe and desk.
Finally, the flat roof type is made of stone tiles (or your roof tiles) that cover the plasterboard ceiling. It makes the house look neat and modern.
