Welcome to my 500 square foot studio here in Seattle! I moved to this studio about three years ago and have loved it ever since.
I dreamed of finding my dream home to live on my own for the first time, and it happened! And I decorated his stupidity.
If you follow me on Instagram, you probably think you’ve seen every inch of this place because I photograph this house from every angle imaginable. Like, obsessively.
But in this home tour, you’ll see parts of my studio that no one has ever seen online, including my walk-in closet. Yes, I said walk-in room in the studio house.

How To Live Large In A 500 Sq Ft (46 Sq M) Apartment » Twistedsifter
One of the biggest questions I get when it comes to my studio is how to create space. And as for my house, my bed does that for me. My sofa is the perfect sofa for the space and it works by itself, like a divider.
With the theme song for the plan, you have Fleetwood Mac lyrics in there – I ordered them from Stay Classic Blog and here are the two pieces I ordered from Etsy.
And you also have one of my favorite songs from Trash: I’m Only Happy When It Rains, which is a great song for me. I love the rain, I’m a Seattle girl. I have a tattoo that says “nothing but rain”, it’s a line from Battlestar Galactica. I’m like, so cool.
And then, right above ‘I’m only happy when it rains’ is a great wall mural I sent from Cumann6. They are artist Tordis Kayma; I will also link in the comments below. The art is so beautiful – it’s so dark and wet and it’s a look I love in my space. I like things to be dark.
How Big Is 500 Square Feet?
And I have my little coffee table here, which is technically an accent table from Target, but the space is so small that an accent coffee table would be really big. So I use a small word table and it works fine.
As we continue our studio tour, you’ll notice that I have Death Note books everywhere. Death Note is one of my favorite anime so I have the manga version spread all over it because it’s so cool. And as I said, I like to have a dark place in my place.
As for coffee table books, here are a few. We have Garbage, Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison, and randomly the Zelda Hyrule Historia book.
Basically, I’m a big advocate of using coffee table books or any other type of supplement to express your interests, your expectations.

This is what Moda Misfit is all about: embracing the things that make you unique, what you love, what you desire, and making them the foundation of your style.
And again, here is the social media. I’m a big fan of stacking pillows, I’m a big believer in the good life. And I love the feeling of my bed hugging me, literally.
And I also have many manga that have been used in my space. This is one of my favorite anime, One Piece, and the manga pieces come together to make a pillow. Again, I love the little touch of space in the space, and how you express your personality.
Again, continue the music theme in my house. These are the sound waves I ordered from Amazon – they are from a company called Cumberland Coast. It’s three of my favorite songs: Led Zeppelin’s Going to California, Jimi Hendrix’s All Along the Watchtower, and Strawberry Fields Forever.

I like to put together art that reflects what I love and what has influenced me the most.
This is something to remember when buying art; I know it sounds overwhelming, but at the end of the day you can narrow down your search by looking for products that reflect your interests and passions. amazing at that This is a good place to start if you are looking for art.
My headboard is another piece that is one of my favorite things about this house, and I love how it looks in the space. It sets the rustic style right away. That’s another tip I have, when you want to express your style and make it clear, you can find a hero piece, a piece that shows the look you want in a minute.
And then I have this beautiful corner here. It’s probably the most important part of my Triforce, which as I said before, I don’t fit the Legend of Zelda in my house because I’m a huge Legend of Zelda fan. It has been my obsession for years. Any of my fellow Zelda fans will know that it is the Triforce from The Legend of Zelda.

I have my little Taylor Momsen quilt that a friend made for me years ago and I love it. I love Taylor Momsen, she’s the lead singer of The Pretty Reckless, which is one of my favorite bands. And again, you have a lot of music. I’m beating you over the head with music in this house, which doesn’t bother me.
And speaking of more music icons, this is one of my favorite singer/songwriters, Poe. I love him, hence the fake production I have made for him, which is an accident. I don’t want to change anyone, but it seems like I am changing. And that’s what I’m here for, really.
And from here we will go to my little corner, which I should not call my living corner because it is Hélí’s corner. This is his seat, he is the only one sitting here. And this is his throne.
And then we have my workspace. And I like to joke that my work space is more romantic than my bedroom because I really went for a French boudoir, old style.

And then I just have magazines and planners here. I am a designer and writer. I don’t really want to talk about it.
And I also have this map of Manhattan, which I got at Target years ago. I lived in New York for 6 years and I can tell where I live from this map. I was on 13th Street and 2nd Street, so that’s where I live in New
