I bought 6 of these baskets and they all have black spots that look like mold. On closer inspection, it seems that this is just a natural thing. These baskets can get caught in clothes with stray threads. I think $12-$15 per basket would be a very reasonable price. Maybe some mineral oil will change the shape? I noticed some reviews mentioned it falling down. If the floor is installed correctly (and the instructions show the correct way to assemble the product) I can see why the floor should fall out.4
