6. Begin placing the stone in the oven by screwing the mortar onto the back of each stone. Don’t make mud all over like laying bricks. Work around the fire chamber.
7. When you get to the top of the fireplace, place the wood and wooden 2x4s to support the rocks above. Cover the top of each support leg. (These are the lintels that span the combustion chamber.)
8. Continue placing the stone with mortar on the mantel. Let it dry. Pour the mortar and pestle into any large cracks between the stones.

9. To build a new wood stove, measure the desired area around the stove and cut the wood with plywood. Cut the 2×4 boards and attach them to the bottom of the plywood with wood glue and a nail gun on each side. Place the fireplace on the stone and place a block around the fireplace frame with mortar.
10. When the mortar is dry, use a hook in the space between the stones with a water jet. Use a damp sponge to wipe off the excess. When the sealant is dry, it is recommended to place a barrier between the parts of the board.
11. To build a new wooden wardrobe, measure the length of the fireplace and the desired width. Cut the base with the selected wood. Cut at the length of the fireplace and six inches in diameter. Attach it with a nail gun to the bottom of the mantel, so that it becomes a stone wall. Add design to the outer edges using a router.
