Real estate investing is one of my biggest passions and it’s easy to see why. Yes, everyone waxes poetic about how nice it is to invest in material things. I can definitely see the appeal in that. But the real highlight for me is LEVERAGE. The US government subsidizes 30 year mortgages with ridiculously good terms and tons of tax breaks…you’d have to be an idiot not to want to take advantage of that. Over two years, my investment, adjusted for senior housing, returned nearly 30% per year, well outpacing even the S&P 500’s breakneck pace.

Wardrobes are very expensive. 150 square meters ft. the first cabinet i got to renovate my apartment kitchen was $25,000. $25,000…and that’s without installing it.
