16 X 32 Cabin Plans – This bungalow has a 1 or 2 bedroom option on the first floor (see 915-15 for 1 bedroom option). Its simple design makes the house cheap to build and full of light. The bedrooms have plenty of space, and the house uses the roof for storage or whatever you choose. We do not list high quality photos because, with a steep ceiling, it would not be suitable as a bedroom. After that, the attic is 6’8″ above most of the room. The top is reached by a low step. The plan has two ways to make the room: Option 1: Attic in the kitchen, bathroom, living room. The bedroom is the front bedroom The stairs are in kitchen Method 2: Two stairs are separated from the cathedral ceiling above the living room and the attic has a rail to open the living room. There are two stairs, one for each ceiling in the kitchen and the front room.
Spacious kitchen with dishwasher, full size oven and built in microwave. A low-cost water heater ensures that hot water does not run out of sight. A small fireplace is also placed in the corner of the main room. One bedroom has a washer/dryer next to the kitchen. The two bedroom apartment has a washer/dryer in the kitchen. In addition to the house plan you order, you may also need a site plan that shows where the house will sit on the property. You may also need wood to match the roof of your area. Your realtor can often help you with this. You also need a septic system if your property is used for sanitation purposes. Many communities now have energy codes that must be followed as well. This usually involves filling out a simple form to provide documentation that your home plan is compliant.
In some areas, you’ll need to take a second step to make sure your home plans comply with local codes. Some regions of North America have more technical requirements. Examples of this would be, but not limited to, the earthquake prone areas of California and the Pacific Coast, the hurricane prone areas of Florida, the Gulf Coast and the Carolinas. New York, New Jersey, Nevada and parts of Illinois also require a local professional review. If you are building in this area, then you should hire a certified engineer to review the structure and provide the drawings and calculations required by your building department. If you’re not sure, the building department often has a document that gives you a list of everything that needs to be submitted and get a building permit.
Moreover, the stock plan does not have a technical seal. If your building department requires one, they will only receive a stamp from a licensed professional in the state where you want to build. In this case, you should take your house plans to a local engineer or architect for review and printing.
