Benjamin Moore Light Grey With Blue Undertones – We are painting the Myrtle House in a couple of months, and I am trying to line up the colors. I don’t want to spoil the choices on this one. Repainting a room is hard, but repainting the whole house is much harder. So I’ve been doing a lot of color comparisons and collecting color chips. You can remember this article about tea. I still love all those colors, I’m looking for some softer shades from the same family. Below is my choice of grey/blue/green color.
This color was difficult to find in the photo of the room, and in one of those photos, the blogger said that she stopped repainting the room because it turned out to be baby blue (first photo below). However, Emily Henderson called it one of her top ten choices, and it looks completely different in the second photo below. I think there is a bit of green undertone in the glimpse, so this color can look very different depending on the lighting in the room. Regardless, I think this polish is at least a good value!
Benjamin Moore Light Grey With Blue Undertones
If you remember the beautiful bath I wrote about last week, this color name may ring a bell. It’s actually the same color as this gorgeous bathroom remodel. It’s a pure greenish blue with a little less gray than the others, but it’s totally fresh and airy.
Gray Paint Colors For Your Home
This color looks very similar to the oyster shell, but maybe a little less. Again, the amount of blue or green that comes out depends on the light in the scene. However, I really like the color of this dining room.
Have you seen Fixer Upper on HGTV? If not, you’re missing out. For those who are die-hard followers like me (absolutely obsessed), you’ll see this Polish recipe popping up around the region quite often. I do have interest
Place this in a room without much natural light. I’m afraid it will be too gray if you do. Enter here in the Myrtle House living room/kitchen.
Although this color is beautiful, it is stronger than the ones above. It is not one of these colors that can not be attached to the color category. To me, when you see this, I think, “It’s really blue.” This would be great in the bathroom. He is also my top competitor for the bedroom. I don’t know whether to put it in this big living room; It can be a little surprising.

Another very intense color, but suitable for a bedroom or bathroom. Gray Wisp is a grayish blue-green color. This paint color definitely has more green undertones than blue.

I love basement walls as much as the next girl, but sometimes you just want a true gray. Not brown, not green, not purple. Just a nice, soft gray. A 100% pure gray color can be a bit difficult to find (even a few below have hints of other shades that I’ll explain), but these are pretty close.
I think many of you have come across my little blog from my popular post to date: Perfect Shades of Grey. Since paint colors seem to be such a hot topic (I think a lot of people want to hear about it) I wanted to write a post about my latest color obsession – navy blue!
Benjamin Moore Gray Wisp
I did a lot of color comparisons and collected paint color chips. You can remember the teas from this post. I still love all those colors, I’m looking for some softer shades from the same family. Below is my choice of grey/blue/green color.
As much as I love gold, I’ve never been brave enough to give it a wall color. Don’t get me wrong, I love the comfort of gold painted rooms, but considering our largest home is 830 square feet (7′ ceilings…) I’ve never had the luxury of being bold (or gold in this case). I always kept things light and airy to make the space feel bigger. But if I had a spacious farmhouse like Lucky Marcia, these would be my choice for a warm gold finish.
I am a big fan of gray wall color. It’s a great neutral and gives a clean, modern feel to any space. However, I understand that not all grays are created equal. We painted most of the Brooklyn house a very cool gray (Sherwin Williams Lattice to be exact). While it’s a lovely color, it always feels a little too cold and sterile for my taste. This is not very cool, but it is also not in the “building beige” category of colors, which set me on the hunt for the perfect greige color. Here are my favorites so far. 🙂
If I had my way, I would paint every wall in my house a light gray-blue-green. I always recommend this color to people and I remember every shade offered by major paint companies by name (true story). It creates such a calming and sophisticated look, you really can’t go wrong using it in any room. I want to share my favorite versions that I’ve found, and hope that some of you can turn guessing into hunting for the perfect shade.

Thanks for the visit! My name is Elizabeth – DIY remodeler and blogger in Raleigh, NC. Click the image above to learn more! Last year I wanted to change the color palette in our house. After I became interested in home design, I learned what style to look for and what exactly it is
Our family and our home. I mean, I’m the only girl in our family, so I don’t want pink to accent our house, but instead, my closet. I love patterns, but I feel most comfortable in a neutral color palette. Neutrals are probably known as the safe zone in the home design department, but if you’re on a tight budget, it makes sense to go with neutrals for more expensive decor items that will last for years to come. I love adding natural elements like plants, textiles and wood to a space and it really makes an environment cozy and fun. And I love contrasts as I love black and charcoal gray and lighter tones with a bit of color – my favorite types of decor ever! I wanted to make our house a little more modern with a neutral color palette, but still keep a bit of a country feel. The first part of the renovation and the most effective way to change the space is to paint the walls, so our entire staircase was painted! The kitchen and living room were once two different colors like here and I painted Benjamin Moore’s “Pure White” over them. This makes the flow in the room consistent. The pure white is super bright but not white, it has a grey/blue tint which gives some contrast to the white and works well with the cool tones and I needed the wall color to flow into the kitchen cabinets; Here’s some gray kitchen inspiration from a previous post. I was able to paint our kitchen furniture in mid-October
By: Benjamin Moore I must say it really changed our head level! Although it is a little more on the warm side of the gray spectrum, it looks cool in our kitchen. My guess is that our countertops and backsplash are brown and cream.
Most of the interior of our house is painted gray so I thought it was only important to share some of my favorite grays and I’ve gone through every shade of gray in Benjamin Moore’s fanny pack!
