Chip And Joanna Gaines Farmhouse Decor – The adorable couple from HGTV’s “Fixer Upper” have been the subject of a lot of speculation in recent weeks, from divorce (nope!) to their series finale after five seasons (that’s right, gasp!) to the latter. : That they will leave their beloved ranch in Waco, Texas.
After the media began covering the news on Thursday, Joanna Gaines denied on Twitter that they had sold the ranch:

We love this place. This is home, which means more than anything to us! Remember, if it’s not coming directly from us, it’s probably not true https://t.co/KbqMdyWbB1 — Joanna Gaines (@joannagaines) October 26, 2017
Modern Farmhouse Style: Everything You Need To Know About Modern Farmhouse Decor
A representative for the couple said: “Any reports that Chip and Joanna have sold their farm are completely false. They have not sold the house and have no intention of doing so. A simple solution was made along the property line they share with their neighbors. It is an unusual and publicity issue that makes this report false.”
Changes to property rules before a big sale are not uncommon; No buyer wants to deal with controversy and difficulties, but the solution itself does not mean that Gaines are going anywhere.
Joanna is sure how much she loves her current home; As she recently noted, she spent two years “chasing” the kitchen island, her favorite thing in the house. The hosts of “Fixer Upper” bring old homes back to life with more style and flair than we ever imagined. So when it came time to buy their home, it’s no surprise they went for an 1890s farmhouse. (Friends just bought this 113-year-old house — and we can’t wait to see what they do with it.)
Beautiful patio doors lead to the front door of the house. An attractive atmosphere is created by a mix of industrial and rural parts.

“Fixer Upper” viewers have seen many scenes on the first floor. The large open plan kitchen, dining and living room creates an inviting space for the family and their guests to relax and enjoy each other’s company.
A clean white color palette in the kitchen keeps everything clean and tidy, no matter how dirty it is in there. A large island with a concrete counter is the focal point of the room, while open shelving on the wall displays the prettiest pieces.
In the living room, repurposed furniture transforms into dramatic wall art, while neutral-colored furniture creates a cozy retreat. The Gaines are famous for not having a TV, so you won’t find a great view here or anywhere else in the house.
Another living room is on the first floor in front of the kitchen. A beautiful quote is painted on the wall and a saying chandelier hangs from the ceiling.
Modern Farmhouse Is Officially Over—and Here’s What’s Taken Its Place
Upstairs, the master bedroom is beautifully designed with soft colors and a sweet chandelier hanging above the bed. There is also a sitting area where Chip and Joanna can relax by the fireplace after a hard day’s work.
Their daughters Amy and Ella share a room for two princesses. The bright white color scheme is complemented by pink accent books on the galvanized metal side tables and fireplace.
The boys, Drake and Duke, share an industrial-style bedroom with bunk beds — two more when they want to entertain their friends. It’s almost there.
A coffee bar serves as a fun place for kids to do homework, and the attic has two craft rooms for the whole family to get creative.

And when the weather is nice, the family can cook, read, eat or just sit together at the large outdoor table next to the large fireplace. The modern farming style they are known for is far from over. I’ve put together a collection based on the heart of the home: modern farmhouse kitchens.
You’ll find common elements like hardwood floors, large island benches, range, open shelving, shelves, wire baskets and pendant lighting. My favorite elements of this style are the natural elements that have been extracted – wood, brick and flowers or plants.
Our first kitchen is beautifully appointed – gold appliances and classic faucets with gray cabinets and hood lines. Some of the features that make this farmhouse modern kitchen include classic subway tiles, cabinet details, a farmhouse sink and open shelving.
The kitchen in this beautiful Westport home is light, bright and airy. I like the profile scale on the cabinets and of course the large island port. A small industrial pendant light brightens up the room with a touch of black and adds charm to the room. A dark layer and a touch of natural material add warmth to the screen.
Fixer Upper Kitchens, Living And Dining Rooms {21 Favorites!}
Won’t there be a big fire in the kitchen?! I love that the fireplace brick is painted, it adds more texture and coziness to the room. Of course, don’t miss the island’s extraordinary columns and the upper pendant. It makes the whole kitchen very warm and inviting.
This next one has been one of my favorites since I first saw it on Instagram a while back. A beautiful wooden feature wall is attached to the floor, shelving and hood. Even the metal fittings on the underside of the shelf move easily. The pendant offers a bit of glamor and sophistication. An absolute miracle for me!
A farmhouse sink is a must in any farmhouse style kitchen. But it’s not just about the sink, it’s about everything that goes with it – the marble countertop and golden goose down are beautiful. It complements the interior of the room with a beautiful headboard and other metal accessories. With lots of natural light, it’s a nice space and I love the use of a deep green color that doesn’t dare much on the kitchen cabinets!
I dreamed against the background of a brick wall… Maybe one day?! I love the shape and detail of the hood and the fact that it contrasts with the black hood. Black can be an intimidating color in a room, but it really anchors a room and prevents it from fading. The wardrobes are equipped with taps and lighting above the sofa.

I love the light vintage feel to this room – the pendant, the wooden column and the rug (I always love an unexpected vintage rug!). Features include the classic subway faucet with more elegant faucets. What I love most about this kitchen are the cabinets – their very tall height to match the frame, their profile, the beautiful green color and those cute little drawers that just wouldn’t work if they weren’t cute. . Small brass knobs.
Designer Mark Kennamer describes this kitchen as “a very formal kitchen that exudes a casual vibe,” designed with gold marble accents. This is facilitated by the beautiful herringbone finish of the brick and the characteristic wooden beams. It’s nice to have flashy busy bars (official loans), but don’t let my kids eat breakfast on them!
What Ranch collection would be complete without a reference to Chip and Joanna Gaines?! This particular house is known as the Colossal Crawford Reno. The vaulted ceiling opens up the space and you can’t help but notice the open shelving that helps give it an industrial vibe. A beautiful and practical island.
This kitchen is definitely more contemporary than farmhouse style. Beautiful vintage features, from industrial pendants to beautiful pantries that form the center of the room. The wood accents go together beautifully. Once you start looking, there are quite a few – pantry, hood, open shelves, cabinets, drawers, island and counter cabinets are quite unique.

With a light rustic touch, this kitchen has beautiful high ceilings and lots of light. This is aided by the use of dramatic blue cabinets and this beautiful old oversized pendant really tells the story. Open shelving and hanging pans are a classic farmhouse look.
The brief for this kitchen was to create a rustic industrial farm kitchen. Notable features include crisp white subway tiles, brass accent faucets and faucets. A butcher block island column adds some warmth, along with much-loved farmhouse decor. My favorite part of this kitchen is definitely the blue chosen for the cabinets – it really brings the room together for me.
With a bit of French flair, the wooden beams in this kitchen really add to the farmhouse feel. With beautiful large windows that let in lots of light, this room feels lighter and brighter. Great contrast with the wood chips.
There are many natural ingredients in this sink.
