I think this might be my favorite style in my living room so far. Lots of interesting details I saw. I’ve been looking for a new spring/summer rug for a long time, along with a few other pieces and this is the end result. I’m happy with the way it all came together, but I also used some good old things like my pillows, blankets and accessories.
I love this rug and how it has transformed my living room into a light and airy space. It is woven but quite soft. Not very soft, but good for natural woven carpets. The background is creamy white and navy blue. But it looks so soft and airy that it will work well in any room.
I also added this jute pouf. I already have a little brother that I bring home but for the price it is perfect for upgrading the coffee table to 30″ in diameter. It’s big enough to fit a small tray (or a book like mine) for essentials or whatever. I can’t get over how amazing you two made this place!
Best Curtain Colors For White Walls
For my pouf / coffee table top, I put together a collection of little things including my new favorite eucalyptus faux coconut. I can not get over how real they look! And here are my new favorite bone beads. But I pulled out an old vase (a similar vase) that I love and put it on top of an old home decor book.
For the pillow I used what I had on hand. You have seen some of them before, but of course the arrangement may be different. On this side of the couch I used my favorite from last fall, this blue and white medallion pillow, a wide blue and white (similar) stripe from Imah Barang, and this peach and polka dot pillow.
I also wore this fun, lightweight, oversized, cotton tassel (wow, that’s a lot of adjectives), but this throw is seriously gorgeous and deserves a comeback this spring!
On the other side you will find a pillow that I also used last fall. I love the subtlety of the pattern on this pillow and the beautiful hint of blue it brings to the space.
