Light And Airy Living Room Decor – For some reason this year I’m really paying more attention to what spring has to offer. All the trees are budding, sweet little flowers are popping up, and the warmer weather is making me feel like spring is coming this year. Light And Airy Living Room Decor
I think this might be my favorite look in my living room. So many fun details, I’m impressed. I was looking for a new rug for spring/summer along with a few other things and this is the end result. I’m really happy with how it all came together, but I also used old things like pillows, throws and accessories.
Cosy Living Room Ideas To Create A Comforting Space
I am absolutely delighted with this rug and how it transforms my living room into a bright and airy space. It is woven but slightly soft. It’s not crazy soft, but it’s great for naturally woven rugs. The background is creamy white and navy blue. But the look is soft and airy and will work anywhere.
I also added this jute pouffe. I already have a little brother that I move around the house, but for the price this one is perfect for upgrading a 30 inch coffee table. It’s large enough that you can put a small tray (or a book like mine) on it for essentials or not. I can’t get over how amazing these two make this place look and feel!
For the top of my pouffe/coffee table, I prepared a collection of little things, including my favorite artificial eucalyptus trunks. I can’t get over how realistic they look! And their new favorite bone beads. However, I pulled out some old vases (similar vases) that I liked and placed them all on an old home decor book.
I used what I had for the pillow. You’ve seen some of them before, but of course the order may be different. On the side of this couch, I used a favorite from last fall, this basic blue and white pillow, a blue and white wide stripe (similar) from Home Goods, and this peach and white pillow.

We also used a fun, lightweight, large cotton tasseled throw (wow, so many adjectives), but this throw is so beautiful and deserves a rebirth this spring!
On the other side you will find a pillow that I also used last fall. I love the subtlety of the pattern on this pillow, and the beautiful blue color adds space.
I love the light and atmosphere of this place now in spring and summer. I hope you like it as much as I do!
Turning to the other side of the room gives you a different view of the carpet, and I’m still using my new artificial olive tree. I love its realism and the life it brings to my living room! You can see my review on this in my TV wall/gallery post.
Small Living Room Ideas You’ll Love
On the TV side of the living room, everything remains the same except for new lights, a pack of artificial peonies, and I put out Grapewood sprigs all year round. The latest full edition of this wall can be seen here.
I’m impressed with the style and texture of this lamp… it’s really pretty! And it’s the work of one of my favorite lighting designers of all time. I recently bought it on sale and I’m delighted!
Opposite the living room is our small rented kitchen… I assure you, you will definitely love the arrangement I prepared here for spring, with more artificial eucalyptus trunks and your favorite wicker tray!

Our Greek fresco pillows are made to order. I really like them, but they’re not very budget friendly. I found a very budget-friendly option for you! These Greek pillows are a fraction of the price! They also come in lumbar sizes.
Gold wreaths are one of my favorite elements in the room. Over the years I’ve had them, they’ve moved around a lot. They are currently sitting on my favorite marble table in the room. I find this laurel wreath to be less expensive and would simply paint the base white or use Rub and Buff to give it a gold finish.
Our marble countertops are gorgeous and if they are within your budget, I would choose them! If this is not within your budget, this marble side table will be a great choice!
