Open the image in Photoshop. You can open an image by choosing File > Open and selecting the image you want to open. You can use your own image for this tutorial or it could be anything but I will use it with a clean white background.

To duplicate the background press CTRL + J or right click on the background and select ‘Duplicate Layer’. We are duplicating the background because in Photoshop the background is again opaque, duplicating the layer will not harm your original image. .
You will now have a two-layer background and a copy of the background (see image below). You can clear the background or turn off visibility by clicking the eye icon.
Now it’s time to choose a background. The fastest way to do this is to use the Quick Selection Tool (W). You can also use other tools, so activate any selection tool and choose a white background.
Activate the Quick Selection Tool (W) and make sure the Add to Selection option is selected in the Options Bar.

If you find that the image is rendered instead of the background, you can press CTRL/CMD + I to change the layer mask result.
If you feel that you have made some mistakes or accidentally deleted parts that you didn’t want, don’t worry, the team will take care of it. Sometimes when we use too fast a method, we end up with rough parts around the thing that we don’t want. To make it easier, you can hide those areas by painting over the layer with a black round brush. It makes the result beautiful and I always use a mask to clean up edges or unwanted areas.

If you are satisfied with the result you now have an image with a clear background. But our work is not done yet, we need to maintain the image and keep the background clear.
Please do not save the image as a jpeg or else you will have a white background in the image again. Select PNG 8 under the preset box to save the file in PNG format.
You can also choose PNG 24. You can also save the image by selecting File > Save As and selecting PNG format, but why should I use Save for Web?
In the image below you can also find many options like you can set the quality of the image, you can reduce the quality, darken the image or view the image before different color profile settings. All these settings are available only in Save For Web command and not in Save As. That’s why I choose these options to save images when I want to save any end result.

Click the Save button after you set the image quality, resolution, or if you don’t want to do anything with the image settings. Give the image any name and save the file as PNG.
Generally, logos always have a transparent background, otherwise you can make your logo background transparent here. Go to File > Open and open the logo image as shown below.
To make the background transparent, we need to open the layer first. Also, a closed layer is not visible in Photoshop. To unlock a layer, click the lock icon in the Layers panel to unlock it.
After opening the layer you will see that the lock icon will disappear and now you can start working on the image.

To make the background transparent, select it using the Magic Wand Tool (W). If from the Select Tool panel, click the white background to select it.
Click on the add layer icon to erase the background and you will get the result as shown below.
Now there is always some space in the middle and the background breaks up as you can see in the image below.
We need to repeat this process, select the Wand Magic Tool (W) and click on the middle area and select these white areas again.

Once the selection is active, make sure the Layer Mask is selected and the Foreground Color is set to black by pressing (D) on the keyboard, then press ALT + Backspace to remove the space between the logos.
Repeat this process until you have made the background completely transparent. Here you can see I’m done now:
To keep the transparency of the logo, we need to save the image in PNG format. This feature helps you to insert your logo wherever you want without background.
