Certainly Sherwin Williams Repose Gray is a great exterior paint color! I think it looks great, especially the southern style architecture and the beach house.

It is important to note that paint colors generally appear lighter when used in exterior applications. This is due to the amount of natural light reflected from the surface.

So since Repose Gray SW 7015 has an LRV value of 58, it will look lighter when used outdoors.

But I personally prefer the light gray used on the outside. Whether used as house paint, fence paint, gray house paint, they all look good to me! I prefer warm gray paint colors on modern farmhouses, beach houses, or even contemporary or more traditional homes.
