Most Popular Sherwin Williams Grey Paint Colors – I’m really excited about today’s post because for the first time in years, Sherwin Williams has added 200 beautiful new designer paint colors as part of a new one-coat paint collection called Emerald Designer Edition. These colors and shades are now Sherwin Williams’ top-of-the-line interior paint.
Before I get into the details, I want you to know that this post is not sponsored in any way. I’m excited to share with you what I’ve learned from researching this new line of projects for my clients.
Most Popular Sherwin Williams Grey Paint Colors
These 200 new colors are exclusive to Emerald Designer Edition paint and cannot be used with other Sherwin Williams colors. The reason for this is that the Emerald Designer paint line is completely different from the “UltraWhite Base”, so if you want these specific colors from other SW paints, you won’t get the same color because of the other white bases. how
Perfect Greige Color Review
In their press release for the new collection, Sherwin Williams noted that they built the new colors for the requirements of interior designers who want combinations of bright white, grey/beige and muted tones. Because of the bright white base, the SW can handle those colors better.
When I first looked at the chandelier, I was very excited because Sherwin Williams designed it and clearly understood what the designers were looking for in developing this new collection. Any paint color is better than graphics!
I have already introduced several colors to my customers and wanted to share my favorite colors from the new collection to inspire you.
Definitely at the top of my list is SW9565 forged steel. I can just tell you now, I’m going to watch more of this because it’s so good! Ironically, I’ve been trying to find a nice rich charcoal color with a custom blend and I’ve never been able to get it right. Sherwin Williams is a dream color combination of brown/grey/charcoal. I have been wanting a project and this is perfect!
Fixer Upper Paint Colors
By the way, the other colors I added to the collage above are from the Forged Steel color palette. I love all those colors on the shelf and I usually work in a thread to make sure all the colors work together (texture, door color, cabinets, walls, etc.).
Wrought iron is perfect for decorating walls, cabinets and interior doors. I’m actually going to use this color throughout the house for all the interior doors for a client project I’m working on. Isn’t it amazing?
A close second to my favorite faux metallic, is this GORGEOUS matte green called Succulent. My god!! It is very beautiful! By the way, this color is amazing!
Sherwin Williams used Succulent in this beautiful cabinet color from their new collection called SW White Sail (I love this light white).

Another option I can’t wait to try is Guild Grey, which is actually the lightest color in the forged steel color palette. I think this color would make the perfect wall color in certain lighting conditions.
Guild Gray reminds me a little cooler of Repose Gray. I think Guild Gray would go well in a house that doesn’t get a lot of natural light. It will lighten/lighten the wall color.
I also enjoy using Serenely and all the other colors in the Serenely color palette. It’s a wonderful muted blue without too much color.
I also love Whisper which is the color of the black wall below. Notice the white color too! It’s called white sesame and it’s a very mild hot grain.
Comfort Gray, A Sherwin Williams Green Paint Color
As for the quality of the new Sherwin Williams Emerald Designer Edition paint, I have heard good things about the product from many different painters I have worked with and tested. While it’s certainly more expensive than traditional Esmeralda paint, the great news is that it’s a one-coat paint, so you don’t need to cover a lot of space, which translates into using less paint in the long run. money I also love that this line comes in a well laid out house!! Such great news that I prefer to use it in my clients’ project houses as it makes that hole in the wall.

Tip: When you paint a room with white patterns, it will appear darker than the base paint.
It’s perfect for an accent color to create the weathered wood look and you can top it with SW Rice Grain for a perfect grey/khaki blend.
Our Top 5 Shades Of Greige
It’s actually more beige than gray, but I like it. When you paint a wall, it takes on the perfect gray color and looks fresh every day.
It’s a great option if you’re not quite sure if gray is your thing and you like a colorful color without being overwhelming.
Gray is perfect for creating a room. It’s too neutral to leave it in place to make it look really old.
