I’m also a lover of contrast, as I love hints of color with lighter tones such as black and charcoal gray – these are the types of interiors I always stick to. I wanted to make our home a little more modern with a neutral color palette, while still retaining some of the country charm. The first part of a makeover and the most effective way to transform a space is to paint the walls, so all our main floors are painted! To determine the tone, compare the pieces of color to the primary color and then to the secondary color Comparing it to the color of the same sound will reveal the tone in the sample and you should be able to identify it easily
These subtle colors will appear when the lighting changes and is combined with the halftone colors in the furniture or fixtures.
By contrast, when comparing the colors below, Sherwin Williams Gale Force appears light green and Indigo Batik appears grey. Navy has pure color and no obvious tones
