Valspar Eddie Bauer Paint Colors – One Sunday morning, as Jay and I drank our coffee, we both decided our room had “no flow” and we were going crazy. Remember, our house built in the 1890s was a single family home, converted to a three bedroom, converted to a two bedroom, and now back to a single family home. Yes, the flow from one room to another can be a bit awkward.
The picture below shows how many doors we got in this one room in the middle of the house. There is a base, an office, a playroom and a bathroom (not shown in the picture below).

What are you going to do? Grab the tools and get to work. Remember: things are going to get very messy!
Shades Of White
After much thought, they decided that the room would open the doors that were already there. This was easier said than done because of the table propped up against the wall which made way for people when. This also means a slight movement of the passage beyond the wall. It’s very easy for someone here (e.g. Jason) to know a little about electrical wiring.
Then came the dining room. Where are we, what are we doing: opening a door, to the middle? There are so many options, all of which would be improvements. We decided to move, expand and put a central gate in the wall. We thought it would look better if the dining table was in the middle of the living room and would open up the “flow” of the house again. Fingers crossed, Jay begins to tear down the drywall.
What color is the room painted now? Ahh the sentences, the sentences. After much deliberation, we decided to go with Valspar Cabin Red. It looks like a nice color that isn’t too dark and a nice change from the old white walls I painted 5 years ago.
They say you’re always at the wall before you try a group. Right?… No, as usual, we clean up properly and go to work. Now for the undressing…
Colors To Live With
Robber! It was a red room. As you can see, the color does not match the swatch above. I think this is where the package comes in handy. As they say, live and learn.
Red is definitely a role, but I really like it. Red is rich and warm. These pictures don’t do it justice because I took them in the morning without natural light.
Now comes the fun part: DECORATING!!! We have plenty of pictures on the walls to check out for a little red break. More DIYs to come so stay tuned. By the way…
