With the market in mind, it’s always a good idea to check with a broker to make sure your investment is likely to translate into a higher resale price.
If you decide to stay inside the house during construction, ask the builder to build a set of temporary stairs outside to facilitate access to the house.

This house in East Greenwich is one of our most transformative projects to date. Our team started as a one-story farmhouse and then converted the building into a two-story neo-gothic house! This second floor addition not only added valuable indoor living space, but also added tremendous value and appeal to outdoor living.

The extension includes three bedrooms, including a master bedroom with two walk-in closets and an en-suite bathroom, a second bathroom and a laundry room. A new centralized staircase was also created, with a corridor on the second floor open to the floor below to connect the two floors.
The facade of the house is decorated with three striking standing gables with overhanging eaves. The central peak is decorated with simple windbreaks. The facades add character and historic flair to the home, befitting the historic neighborhood near Main Street in East Greenwich. Gothic Revival style architecture was prominent around 1830-1880 in New England. The wide single-story porch common to this style was also a welcome addition to the front of the house.
