20 X 20 Shed Plans – The General Steel structural portfolio is ideal for casting due to its flexibility. The basic build package includes a primary and secondary frame, but it’s really the elements that make your barn your own. Opening the frame allows the building owner to choose where to place the sliding door and window parts on the building. Laminate panels can be added to insulate built-in vents for ventilation and add aesthetic exterior color.
The cost of construction depends on several factors. First, the size of the build package. Large-scale buildings are more expensive, but they are cheaper when looking at the price per square meter. Second, the cost of construction is determined by the design, including the features you choose for your shed. Finally, steel prices can change at any time according to market processes. These factors combine to determine your final price.

Unexpected expenses are inevitable, so budgeting should be a smart process. Direct construction costs, such as environmental conditions, building usage and steel prices, are more easily calculated than land acquisition, permits and utilities. Make sure there are more factors than creating yourself.

We recommend you invest in the best materials. That’s why you should buy weather-resistant trees such as pine and cedar. Measure properly before sizing components. To prevent the wood from splitting, drill pilot holes in the piece before driving the wood screws. My plan comes with a complete cutting/buying list that is easy to download and print as a PDF. The first phase of the project is the construction of a floor frame for the 20×20 storage warehouse. For the wood, use 2×6 wood and cut it as shown in the diagram. Drill pilot holes along the long beams and insert 3 1/2″ self-tapping screws into the vertical joints. Space the joists every 16 inches. Make sure the corners are square. Align the running edges. Use strap loops and 1 1/2″ framing screws. , if you want to fasten the floor frame.
Use 4×4 sticks for sliding. Place the panel under the floor frame. Use joist cables to ensure it slides into the floor frame. Choose a place to put it in the warehouse and remove the layer of vegetables.
The surface must be carefully leveled to ensure correct placement of the shed. Use a level to make sure the floor frame is horizontal. Measure the diagonal of the floor frame and make adjustments until it is perfectly straight. Tamp a 4-inch layer of gravel under the shed frame to help drain water and protect the mix from excess moisture.
Use a sheet of plywood and 3/4-inch notches. Invest in pressure treated plywood as the floor will be exposed to moisture. Cut the sheet according to the measurements shown in the diagram and the cutting list. Leave a space between the pages and smooth the edges that run out. Drill driver holes and insert one 5/8″ screw along the entire length of the frame to secure the sheet.

Use 2×4 lumber for the back wall framing. Cut the components to the correct dimensions as shown in the diagram. Drill a drill bit into the board and insert 3 1/2″ self-tapping screws to assemble the wall frame. The corner squares and the edge squares. Center one piece of metal every 16 inches.
Pay attention to the two traffic lights on both sides of the wall. Place a 1/2-inch piece of plywood between the two nails.
Next, install the front wall frame for the 20×20 garden storage area. As the diagram shows, you need to leave a 96-inch opening so that you can install two 4-foot doors. Use 2×6 bars for both heads. Fitted with 2×6 1/2″ boards, you can make it 3 1/2″ thick. You can adjust the opening size to suit your needs. A garage door can be installed if necessary.
Column 16 inches on center. Make sure the corners are square. Place two pieces of metal at either end of the wall. Fitted with 1/2 inch plywood blocks between double braces.

Using the information in the diagram, build the side walls with windows and front doors. Drill a hole in the guide shaft and screw a 3 1/2″ screw into the cap. Center the 16-inch piece of metal as shown in the plan.
Note the double 2×4 header with a 1/2″ board in the middle. Add joint glue and insert 2 1/2″ screws on each side to mount the header. You can adjust the window size according to your needs. In addition, the door frame will open. You can use my plan to install a pre-hung door, or you can build a simple door.
Build the opposite wall using the technique described above. Center a piece of metal every 16 inches.
Attach the wall frame to the warehouse floor. Align the end of the run and place it vertically according to the level. Drill a hole opener and screw a 3 1/2-inch end through the bottom board into the floor frame. Make sure the corners are square, then fasten the wall with 3 1/2-inch screws.
