Behr Purple Gray Paint Colors – I’m not going to lie and say purple (also known as purple or lavender) is the most popular paint color – it’s not. In fact, when I do electronic designs, this is one of the colors I get asked for
. Why? Yes, purple is too bad, too loud, too royal or too barney – and if you look at the history of purple, these keywords make sense!

However, today’s purples are a far cry from the Barney-inspired hues of yesteryear, and are actually some of the prettiest on the market!

Soft and delicate, Dreamy Cloud is close to white in color, but the body can hold the perfect scent of purple. While many of today’s popular purples have a gray or brown undertone, so does Dreamy Cloud.
, so it’s kept to a neutral tone when it looks purple It’s cooler and not too colorful with a slight nod to evening lavender.
Dreamy Cloud keeps his well in a south-facing room He can also work in a north-facing room, but be aware that it looks very cold

Dreamy Cloud has an LRV of 76, which means it reflects some light into the room.In a bright room with direct sunlight, it will fade a little, but will regain its color once the sun changes.
Not for the faint of heart! Like Dreamy Cloud, it’s a more subtle, French lilac crimson, with no nauseous or “sunshine” undertones.
French Lilac is a bit warmer and slightly more toned than Dreamy Cloud It sits on the light end of things, but is closer to light-medium depth.
French Lilac’s LRV 56, which surprises me because it looks a little lighter than it is. With this LRV, it doesn’t reflect much light into the room, but it doesn’t absorb much
Spotlight Paint Color: Blooming Lilacs
Abalone is my favorite light purple because it’s so delicate. Compared to the color above, it looks gray, which is gray with a pinkish-brown tint. This is a great way to make it 100% (or even 50%) purple.
With LRV 62, Abalone sits between the two previous purples, and LRV is also my magic number – read more here.
Wet concrete sits slightly on the warm-pink end of the material, and cool purple on the cool-blue end. Known for its neutral base, this ‘earth tone’ purple is non-pigmented.
Wet concrete has an LRV of 27.0, meaning it absorbs light rather than reflecting it into the room. If you don’t have enough natural or artificial light, it can help make a room feel warm, cozy and inviting.

Sandlot gray isn’t usually the color you think of when you think of purple, as it has a nice dollop of brown/grey in it, giving it a neutral look. However, with its warm pink base, it definitely belongs in the purple spectrum. Warm purples can be almost pink This color doesn’t look pink, but you’ll notice that it’s softer and warmer than cool purples. Overall, Sandlot Gray is a great way to get a purple color – without the resin!
