We love the grand entryway, and the path to this master bedroom is one with an arched doorway, chandelier pendants, and a 32-foot vintage runner that runs through the great room.
Paints We Use In Our Home
As you enter the bedroom, you’re greeted by soaring ceilings with white shiplap beams, whitewashed brick from the exterior of the home, and a traditional fireplace surrounding the mantle. It is important for our customers that this space is calm and quiet, and although the color palette is minimal, the textual elements take the focus.
We’ve included some of our favorite pieces from McGee & Co in this space, from the curved Huxton Dresser to the Walt Bed wingback. In the corner, we created a small reading area with a comfortable chair and ottoman, a floor lamp with brass details, and an artificial olive tree.

How To Paint Kitchen Cabinets
Color: 75% strength Swiss Coffee by Benjamin Moore. Walls in Egg Finish, Trim in Satin Finish, and Ceiling in Satin Finish.
We did a gray backsplash on the bathroom counter, a mix of polished nickel and brass, and added a beautiful vertical vase in porcelain marble to create a focal point.
Complete with a bathroom, a standing tub, and a few vintage decorative touches, it’s the perfect place to relax after a long day.
Designers note: When we do the bathroom in the bathroom, we try not to use natural stone because it is porous, but this porcelain looks so close to the real thing you can’t tell the difference!
