Benjamin Moore Light Pewter Walls – I am slowly expanding the web part. He’s 13 now (stop growing up, please!), and it looks like we’re at a point where we’re going to have to do some new things and improvements until he’s done. College. I can’t believe this is our reality! One of the first steps in the process was to paint her small room. Drew asked simply and plainly. Benjamin Moore’s Reverend Pewter helped determine the final color choice. Love how it turned out! Here’s how to get Benjamin Moore River Pewter in a boy’s bathroom.

Drew was lucky enough to have his own bathroom attached to the room. It was supposed to be a guest bedroom, but with another couple’s kids, we chose to take the Jack and Jill bath he shared with his sister and into his own room. It’s also lucky to have a window that makes this room light and bright.

The bones of this bathroom are basic and basic, but perfect for a 13 year old boy! Everyone is sitting here, we need a new coat of paint. And I bought new towels, towel racks, and bath rugs. I’m thinking of upgrading the faucet and lighting, but for now a few cosmetic changes will happen!

We lived in four houses and I painted a lot in each house. I knew I could hit this little section in time. I really enjoyed the process and I appreciate the power of color! At any time!

After talking with Drew, we decided to keep things confidential. He likes “color”, so I brought some beige/grey samples. I always look to Pinterest for inspiration, and I’ve asked my Instagram accounts for shades of gray. Finally we decided on river pewter. It is the darkest of the samples and remains “neutral” against our cream test. Some of the other colors were drawn to a slightly lighter shade of red. I really enjoyed the look on the Reverend Pewter top.

Revere Pewter is a Benjamin Moore paint, but I mixed it with Behr paint at Home Depot. I am very happy with this color pack! The first paint color was a very light blue, so I didn’t feel like I had to start. After two coats of this beige color, the walls are properly covered. I went with an egg.

To begin with, clear everything from the room and remove hooks, mirrors, artwork, electronic boards, etc. from the walls. I cut the baseboards and door panels to clean the mess. It is a good idea to clean the glue from the corners of the room! We got one – ha! After that, it’s time to secure the position. I like to do this around the door and baseboards and the shower. I won’t fix the roof because I’m really good at cutting! You can keep the lights on at this point, but I’ll just leave it at that. This image is after one color. I can paint quickly when everything is taped and you have to be perfect! In my opinion, the time is right!

In this small bathroom I decided to trim the entire area first with a paint brush and then use a paint roller to finish. I took one plate at a time and went around the ceiling and the floor and the door with a paint brush. Next, I came up with a paint roller to cover the larger layers. It is better to add as many handprints as possible. Since the space is small and I have to get into small areas, I used a small paint roller. It doesn’t cover much skin, but I feel good with a small amount.

In this case, I apply one coat a day and a second coat the next day. I left the cover on overnight. When the second layer is finished, pull the covering tape.

Adding a fresh coat of paint and some fresh air to the room can be a simple upgrade! Everything is new and clean. My wish list for this room is to replace the light fixture and faucet and replace the expensive tile. This time, Drew got his wish pure and simple. He loves it and that’s all that matters!
