And since my internet was slower than molasses sitting on the shelf for a decade, I took the time to write her a review, which I republished here, along with some photos I took during the exclamation.

Yes, I am aware that other reviews have been written. But I wrote this before reading them.

If this color sounds familiar to some of you, it’s because it’s very close to a Farrow & Ball color, gray blue from Benjamin Moore’s conversion chart.
Blue Grey, which is neither blue nor grey, is a mild sage green. And so is the fog from October 1495.
For owners of Laurel Home ink collections, two less than 1495 lives is one of the ink collection colors often mentioned in this blog;
There is also another color from the Laurel Home Paint Collection that is very close to October Mist, which is Saybrook Sage hc 114. We’ll take a look at that in a moment.

Yes, your bedroom lighting will make a difference. Of course, it changes all colors relative to each other.
Above and below are the Rodin Museum in Paris via the Living Beautiful blog. I’m sure the color is Farrow & Ball Blue Grey. This color is also close to COTY 2022 – October Mist 1495.
Above is a gray blue by Farrow & Ball. And yes, the same color can look so different in a photo and in person. We discussed this in other recent posts. This is why we should always test, test, test paint colors.
That’s also why when people ask me, “What color is that color?” I hope you understand why this is problematic. Rarely does an ink color in print look like it is.
Best Sage Green Paint Colors, According To Design Pros
Some will say that Benjamin Moore COTY 2022 October Mist is a “safe choice”; or maybe even boring.
I’m afraid I have to strongly agree. I think Simply White, despite being bold, was the best color they’ve chosen so far.
Also, when it comes to painting the four walls, in my opinion, “safe” and “boring” might be the best choice.
In fact, this would be a good accent color, for example for a dining room, off another room in October Mist.

Also, I think October Mist is a much better choice than the slightly stuffy Guilford Green from 2015. Hmmm… I thought I posted about it, but I can’t find it. Well, probably for the best!
Now let’s take a look at Benjamin Moore’s 2022 color trends to see how they fared with these colors.
Of course, no one would combine all these colors in one house, except perhaps in fabric. However, I think this color palette shows a lot of thought and pairs well with some of the palettes in the Laurel Home Paint and Palette collection.
Below is Seafoam, a very soft whisper of lavender in a warm light gray color. It’s a beautiful color that we did in a room several years ago.

I discovered that every color in Color Trends except for High Park and Venetian Portico has an identical or very close twin in the Laurel Home Collection.
Yes, I will tell you the names of Benjamin Moore ink colors that go well with other Benjamin Moore ink colors. ;] (Although one of them, Quiet Moments is the same.)

And I think it’s funny that so many colors in my color collection are just synonymous with your colors.

Surprisingly, the ads for the 5 colors of the year were ALL shades of green this year! This may be a reflection of our renewed connection with nature, as the pandemic has forced a change in routine for most of us. The outdoors became our place for connection, solace and socialization.
Green options range from the aquamarine of Behr’s Breezeway to the deep green-yellow of Glidden’s Guacamole. Benjamin Moore’s color of the year for 2022, October Mist, falls right in the middle. It is a complex greyish green with a hint of warmth.
Green in general, and October Mist in particular works almost as a neutral. It goes well with many other colors. Works with most other shades of green, as well as various blues, pinks, purples, corals and yellows. In combination with white it gives a fresh air and in combination with black it gets a sophisticated feel. Of course, it also works well with almost any color of stained wood, from pale birch and pickled oak to rich shades of mahogany and fruity wood, whether in joinery, flooring or furniture.

For these beautiful textured fabrics from Stout Textiles (the green chenille tape is Blink/Chive, the embroidered leaf pattern is Creed/Aloe and the diamond pattern is Wynnewood/Grass) and Thibaut (Pleated Tape/Taupe) finishes in wood tones, we chose pairs in warm taupe beige and lode pine green
