Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter Bathroom – I slowly renovated Drew’s room. He’s now 13 (please stop growing up!) and we feel like he’ll have to make it up to college while we do some upgrades and upgrades. I can’t believe this is our reality! I love how it turned out!
Luckily for Drew, his room is attached to his. Technically it’s supposed to be a guest room, but for the opposite sex kid, we decided to share it with his sister from the Jack and Jill bathroom and move it into his own bedroom/bathroom. It is also lucky to have a window to light up the room.

This bathtub skeleton is a basic construction level, but perfect for a 13-year-old boy! Like everything else here, we need a new coat of paint. I also bought new towels, washcloths, and bath mats. I’m still planning on updating the faucets and light fixtures, but for now a few cosmetic changes will be made!
How To Use Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter In 2022
We lived in four houses and in each of them I painted a lot. I know I could never declutter this tiny bathroom. I really enjoyed the process and was amazed at the power of the paint! always!
After talking with Drew, we decided to stay neutral. Although she wanted “color”, I brought home beige/grey swatches. I always look to Pinterest for inspiration and ask about my favorite shades of gray on my Instagram stories. We finally settled on Revere Pewter. It’s the darkest light, “neutral” with our cream liner. Some other colors are a little pink or too light for Drew. I am very pleased with how the Revere Pewter compares to the cream finish.
Revere Pewter is a Benjamin Moore color, but I mix it with Behr paint at Home Depot. I’m very happy with how this paint turned out! The previous paint color was a very light blue so I don’t think a primer is needed. After two coats of this Bear paint, the walls are perfectly covered. I chose eggshell.
First, clean everything in the room, including existing hangers, mirrors, artwork, electrical panels, etc. from the walls. I wiped down the dashboard and door frames to remove all the dust. It’s also a good idea to vacuum any clumps in the corners of the room! We have some! Then it’s time to glue the gap. I like to do this around door trim, countertops, and showers. I wouldn’t glue the bottom because I’m really good at cutting! You can also glue the light on, but I left it off. This photo is after applying paint. I can paint faster when everyone tapes and you don’t have to be perfect! I think it just takes time!
Painting A Teen Boy’s Bathroom Revere Pewter
For this small bathroom, I decided to paint the entire area first with a paint brush and then finish with a paint roller. I paint one wall at a time and use a brush to paint circles on the ceiling, floor and doors. Then I go in with a paint roller to cover large areas. It is better to mix the stroke as much as possible. Since the space was small, I had to get into even smaller spaces, so I used small paint rollers. It doesn’t cover that much surface, but I feel like I’m in control with a small one.
In this case, I used one coat one day and another coat the next day. I left the masking tape on overnight. When the second coat is done, peel off the masking tape.
Adding a fresh coat of paint and some new elements to the space is such an affordable upgrade! Everything feels clean and tidy. My wish list for this room is to change the lighting and faucets and replace the cheap tiles. Now Drew has fulfilled his desire to be pure and simple. He loves her and that’s all that matters!
