If one of these colors is too saturated for you, ask the company to saturate your color to 75% or 50% (or whatever ratio you prefer). It keeps the tone and color the same but lightens it.

What Is Greige? How To Use This Versatile Neutral Color
Why is this a big deal? You might be thinking, “Doesn’t BEHR match those colors?
Off-whites, off-whites, and light colors near neutrals are especially difficult because the base paint color determines the final color.
Each brand has different shades and base colors. BEHR’s base is the whitest and purest – which also explains why their Ultra Pure White is the purest white paint color you can buy.
You always run the risk of mixing colors in a different brand than yours. The only way to know if it works is to mix it, dry it, watch it or measure it. It might look good on a paint table though. . . When you return home, it can be a different story.

This is great news for those of you who are bored with visual gymnastics and completely done with color theory.
Undertone theory is the main point of painting for most people, and it stands in stark contrast to color tools carefully designed to make color easy for you. We finished the current painting project a few weeks ago, so we had Baby’s birthday party. Finally a clean house to photograph. Are We Done With Gray? We Explore + A
It is a very close match to the very popular Benjamin Moore’s River Pewter. I don’t care how it performs or cleans up with BM paint, and Home Depot’s Behr Premium Plus Ultra is our current favorite. It covers very well and is easy to clean with 2 dogs and a baby. We painted the foyer, hallway, family room, kitchen and mud room which is currently Nude Silk White.
I want to replace the vestibule with something extra, but it’s hard to find something I like at a price I can justify. This is a very visible place because it is very difficult.
I have a new, lighter unit for this hallway, but I’m having trouble finding the right size glass shade.
Here’s the before picture, it’s hard to see how much of a difference the new colors made in the picture.
Edgecomb Gray Benjamin Moore: Why I Love It.
Lighter, more neutral color of the wall, whiter decoration, bright and “clean” is here. Painting everything, including the ceiling, was a huge pain, but we always find it necessary when we finish each room.
Next on the list are our master bedroom, children’s room and dining room/piano room. I am looking for beds that will take the design direction of the bedrooms. I plan to use a dark steel blue for the piano/dining room.
The trim on the left is the new color, the trim on the window is the old color of ivory. This is the room in the current room:
I’m trying to decide whether to add the details to the ceiling or both. I think it needs something to jazz it up a bit. When I found it, a new chrome chandelier was listed. I would also like to find a pair of accent chairs for the space.
Color Palette Monday (#1)
At the same time, we replaced the wire shelves in the kid’s closet with more solid shelves, increasing his storage by a ton. I have to finish a special project I designed for her room. More on this in the future. I’m a big fan of gray wall paint. It’s a great neutral and adds a clean, modern feel to any space. However, I learned that not all grays are created equal. When we first moved in, we painted our mostly Brooklyn house a very cool gray (Sherwin Williams Grid, to be exact). Although it is a beautiful color, it always feels a little cold and sterile for my taste. This sent me searching for the perfect greige paint color that wasn’t great but wasn’t in the “building beige” paint color category. Here are my favorites. 🙂
It’s the darkest of the colors in this post, but I think it would look great in a larger area that could be a little darker. This paint color is very popular on Pinterest, and it’s easy to see why! This color looks great when paired with bold white trim and espresso
