Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter Paint – Revere Pewter is one of the colors that has been trending over the years. It is very similar to Sharon Williams’ famous “Pleasant Gray”. But actually, it’s even better! It’s getting cleaner, though it’s a darker than acceptable gray.

This paint color works well in rooms with a lot of natural or artificial light. In cold light it can be a bit darker, like many dark grays.

BM Revere Pewter has an LRV of 55 and is a medium gray. Since it is greater than 50, it is still considered reflective. It’s lightweight enough to use in nearly every room of the house, yet it’s also richly pigmented. Because it’s a warm gray, it won’t fade in bright sunlight, and it actually looks best in a well-lit room.

Revere Pewter has a rich green color. It doesn’t have the fleshy tones you sometimes see in pleasant grays that have green undertones with a hint of violet.

As with many shades of gray paint, He Tin’s undertone is only apparent when placed next to a different shade of gray.

Avoid using BM Revere Pewter in very cool or dimly lit rooms. The color is so dark it looks a little shady in these places. It does need a lot of light (natural or artificial) to reveal its full potential on the wall.

While many gray paint colors look cool with earthy finishes, the warm green of River Tin complements the warmth of those finishes. This color also looks great paired with natural hardwood floors and other wood accents.

Use Revere Pewter with off-white trim and ceiling colors such as Chantilly Lace, Pure White, Cloud White, and Dove White. You can get as hot as swiss coffee cutting paint, but it wouldn’t be my first choice.
