Benjamin Moore White Color Chart – It’s no secret that white walls are out there. Gray is still the best option, but more and more people are jumping on the white bandwagon, myself included. When we chose colors for our house in James Island, I chose white walls. White walls are a blank canvas. You can add as much color as you like with furniture and accessories. Aqua furniture? No problem. A hot pink industrial credenza? Bring it in. White walls allow you to easily change the mood and color of your space only during the day. White may seem like the easiest option, but when it comes time to pick up a brush, solid colors can be overwhelming. If you have painted a room in white, you know that choosing the right shade of white is not easy. These are the white tones I find again and again:
As delicate and refined as the lace for which it is named, this crisp, pure white evokes images of white silk, soft linens and simple times. Chantilly Lace reads clean, clear and simple. It is a perennial favorite among decorators because of its versatility and beauty. This is Benjamin Moore’s most authentic white with very light gray and blue tones. Honestly, if I had to choose a white color for the whole house, I would go with Chantilly.

Super White is the whitest of Benjamin Moore’s white paints and blends beautifully with any other color. Choose this white to brighten and brighten the room without looking too modern or cold. Super White is my personal favorite for trim painting.
Pro Tip: Don’t use it on white plaster or uneven walls because it will emphasize imperfections.
My new white is Benjamin Moore “Super White”. I recently remodeled my house and painted everything in this crisp, bright white without cream materials, it emphasizes the architectural details and makes the artwork really pop. “
Simply White is a versatile and iconic soft white color that has a warm feeling and looks great anywhere. It is absolutely the most versatile of all whites. You know, clean without looking white and it only has little yellow things so it’s a warm white without being too creamy. “Benjamin Moore is just the white going through my kitchen.” It just feels right, not too cold, not too hot.”
Pro tip: “Just white” is not true white. Because of its cold yellow color, it is a very warm white. If you are looking for a standard white color, don’t go for this one.
One of the most frequently asked questions is what is the best white color for trim and base cabinets. Beautiful trim can emphasize the architecture of a space, bring out the color of the wall, and provide a beautiful background glow. When painting trim, a satin finish hides imperfections better than a semi-gloss. Not sure what color to choose for your trim or trim? My favorite colors are:
White Heron is a crisp, cool white with some blue tones and looks amazing with cool gray and glossy finishes. Particularly sophisticated and infinitely versatile, be sure to use this white in bright areas to avoid dirty gray corners.

LRV, or Luminance Ratio, is a number assigned to paint colors to indicate the percentage of light they will reflect off, or basically how much light they reflect on the wall. The scale goes from 0 (draws all light) to 100 (draws no light or reflects 100%). White and bright colors have high LRVs because they reflect more light, while dark colors have low LRVs because they reflect more light and absorb more.
