LRV, or Light Reflectance Value, is a number assigned to colors that shows the percentage of light reflected by them, or basically how much light they reflect off the wall. The scale ranges from 0 (reflects all light) to 100 (no light or 100% reflective).

White and light colors have a high LRV because they reflect more light, and dark colors with a low LRV reflect less light and absorb more.
