Benjamin Moore Wythe Blue Coordinating Colors – On Mondays I’ll be starting a new weekly feature I’ll call Color Palette Monday. My goal is to share color palette ideas from common color questions I receive from readers. I know it’s hard to find that perfect color, and I hope these palettes help everyone explore the vast array of colors and give you customized color suggestions (for tones, tones, and accents).
The best thing about this week’s feature is that each color palette I share each week will be a full printable page with a little space for “memories” on the printable palette:

My printable sketches are not meant to replace color card, but they give you a great sense of color and a little variation. When you see a color you like, don’t rely on my palette, but grab a crayon and see which color works best. Believe it or not, printing a color photo is much closer to displaying true colors than a computer screen (unless the printer is low on ink!).
Tips To Sell Your Home Fast {how We Sold Our Home In 2 Hours}
For better quality, but standard copy paper (8.5 x 11) I recommend printing the palette on smooth card stock (no fabric/fiber lines). Below you can see the big difference between the computer monitor image on the left and the palette image on the right:
I also number the color palettes that will be printed and posted each week, so if you want to print and save, you can call up the same illustration section number. I also only share known colors first, and if I don’t find a known color, I just share the colors I see on the physical color card and compare them to other known colors.
Ok, now that I’ve written a novel about how this new feature works, let’s talk about this week’s color palette!
These color combinations are great transition colors because they have cool and warm tones that work anywhere and with any wood or floor color.
Jrl Interiors — The Benjamin Moore Color Of The Year 2021
I’ve rounded up some of the best gray blues with hints of green, and you’ll notice that some have more green than others:
(The upper left color of the staircase is always the recommended color for the trim or ceiling. The lower left color is always the darkest color for the staircase and matches the accent color of the fabric or furniture in the space. Matching lighter colors. A dark color can also be a great wall color. . . ).
Depending on the lighting in your place, this color can be more green or blue, but in any case, the combination of gray / blue / green is very good. I mostly see it in bathrooms and bedrooms and it’s very comfortable paired with white. I have recommended this color many times and so far everyone raves about it.
Silence by Sherwin Williams is another beautiful color that I think would be amazing in a bathroom or bedroom.

Behr Valley fog is a light blue-grey with a green tint, so you can see more gray with this color. However, I’ve seen a few places where this color is really green, so if you’re considering it, check out the color in your area:
Benjamin Moore’s Charlotte Palette is popular with this gorgeous BHG color palette trending on Pinterest. Of course, the bottom is a beautiful blue/green/gray color.
I think charlotte slate would be beautiful painted on furniture or cabinets. I love this rich color in a small powder room with a little white dresser or den/library.
Finally, Halcyon Green by Sherwin Williams is another gorgeous gray/blue/green color that can brighten up any space. See how this color works in this dark basement.
Blue Colour Paint
Also keep in mind that lighting can drastically change the color of an ink, and things that look safe on a color card can have crazy color jumps in certain lighting conditions. If you like the color of the paint, be sure to get a card and color palette to see the color in your space in bright light. If you’re still not sure, paint a large poster board with a sample color and stick it on the wall and look at it overnight to see how the color looks.
Thank you so much for joining me on my first Color Palette Monday!! I’m really excited about this new feature and can’t wait to share inspiration from the beautiful color palette in the coming weeks. If you have ideas for future Color Palette Mondays, I’d love for you to share them in the comments section below.
