The owners wanted the living room to reflect the same light and freshness as the kitchen, but the color combination was very important. They were nervous about painting the walls bright colors (Sherwin Williams – Repos Gray), but with freshly painted neutral walls it was easy to decorate with color. I added a large 8×10 rug in bold yellow and blue, a large piece of art above the sofa in similar colors, and lots of greenery, both faux and real.
