Top Exterior House Color Trends
Finding the right color for this unpainted brick home was a challenge. We had to find a shade of white that would go well with the black brick chimney that was in the front of the house.
In the end, we decided to use Iceberg (SW 6798) as the white exterior color. For the paint color we went with Tricorn Black. Therefore, the new color of the white border is very different from the black color and the bright green garden. It is undeniably a stunning postmodern restoration.
The front and back painted bricks are a real game changer. The old bare and unpainted brick was due for a modern update, so we decided to paint it.

For the exterior painting, we had to match the brick to the existing blue cladding on the top of the house. Today’s brick color is a pastel gradient clashing with blue edges. Freshly washed print, we left the front brick as well as the back unpainted because it looks great.
As you can see, matching the brickwork with blue to the edges made the house look bigger than it already is.

We painted the 2nd floor brick and cedar siding white. Benjamin Moore’s Sea Pearl is a beautiful white with gray undertones. In turn, this form enlarged and modernized the house.
Last, we painted the door, house number, and front door dark gray. The dark gray used is called raccoon fur (also a Benjamin Moore paint).
