My favorite nail polish remover is Citristrip. Most nail polish removers contain strong chemicals and produce very strong fumes, Citristrip does not.
It comes in gel and spray (nebulizer) form. I have used both and both work well. I use a small spray and a gel for larger works.

I picked up some new hardware from Ace Hardware. I wanted to keep the “antique” feel.
So far, I’m happy with the change. But I am still annoyed by the red color on the drawer and top.
I tried dark waxes, “rust” stains, and clear furniture waxes. But without success! All of these products are still red.
After a little research I decided to try bleaching the wood. It’s new. I’ve never done this before. But I’m very glad I did.

FYI: I use household bleach regularly because I don’t have anything else. Not the best option But it was all I had at the time.

I put some bleach on a thick paper towel. then wipe it all over the wood on the table I let it dry and repeated this process about 5 times.
