The first thing that caught my eye was Vintage Grey, which I got a sample bottle from Lowes to try.
I’m a bit of a waffle But in the end it was decided that it was too dark. I started to panic about choosing the right color and remembered that Young Home Love painted their bedroom gray and it looked amazing. So I looked at their color chart and found that they used Benjamin Moore’s Rockport Grey.
So I went to a local paint store with Benjamin Moore and was a little shocked to find that the Rockport Gray sample didn’t live up to my expectations. in my humble opinion It’s closer to brown than grey. bottom left I personally don’t like it. So I picked up more cards as shown in the picture below.
Then I got in the car. See all the cards I have collected. and finally decided Granite dust from valspar Not too brown, not too blue, not too dark. not too light This is definitely a golden gray lock (I believe).

So my gray color was chosen! then get to work Painting a room is no fun. But luckily it passed very quickly. It took 4.5 hours in total (from moving furniture to final cleaning), three hours were bead making. I did it myself because I don’t like fixing anything but the ceiling. I’m a little more experienced/steadier than B if I let him help me. He could help us The total time can be reduced by at least an hour.
