The classic black and white color scheme is always up-to-date and elegant, especially in an artisan’s home. Here our designers recommended Benjamin Moore’s Black Beauty for siding and Sherwin Williams Westhighland White for trim. The juxtaposition of these two versions creates a striking contrast. Finally, wood accents along with copper gutters take this eye-catching design to the next level.
The earthy color palette used by our designers in this Craftsman home blends in perfectly with the natural surroundings. Sherwin Williams Mountain Road is ideal for siding reinforced with Sherwin Williams’ rich Tricorn Black finish. Then the stone columns and steps, the wooden front door and the landscape emphasize the flavor of the new field.
Mountain Road doesn’t just work with dark paint colors – for this Craftsman home, our designers came up with an earthy palette. Benjamin Moore’s muted Manchester tan used on the columns and trim creates a soothing contrast with the neutral brick and stucco on Mountain Road. After that, our designers used Benjamin Moore’s darker Aegean Olive for small details such as the veranda floor, windows and attic trim, which made the design more dynamic.
Dark Exterior Paint Color Inspiration From Hgtv
Sherwin Williams Urbane Bronze is one of our favorite shades of gray because of its warm, rich tone. With such a wide range, the color works well in any home style, and we especially love how it translates into this Craftsman home. Seapearl by Benjamin Moore is the perfect companion for a warmer and more relaxed interpretation of the traditional black and white body color scheme.
There is nothing better than bungalow-style artisan houses. And that color palette is a big part of the house’s appeal. We like to use two different colors of paint on the top and bottom of the siding for a colorful design. The multiple textures of columns, gates and walkways create an interesting layered feel. For the underside, our designers chose Benjamin Moore’s Elemental, a greyish green that compliments the surrounding landscape. On top, Aegean Olive gives the face contrasting green tones.
After the more rustic feel of your artisanal home? Our designers have achieved this above by using different textures and textures.
