New Folk Art Multi-Surface Paint works on many types of surfaces such as glass, wood, multimedia paper, fabric, plastic, canvas, wood and terracotta. The color has a really vibrant satin finish, visible against soft colored backgrounds. Colors are versatile and wallet friendly. You just need to buy some colors. Be creative at home. I’ve been looking for a great surface color and I’m so glad Plaid makes this one. I’ve been a huge fan of Plaid products since they came out with their Gallery Glass line. My experience with the Plaid Folk Art line has been great. I know I can trust their products to deliver great results. The above collection is Amazon’s Folk Art Multi-Surface 12 Color Set for $19.97.
I also painted some samples of Folk Art Multi-Surface Paint onto the glass so you can see which colors are darker.
And what is more transparent. This paint is so versatile that if you’re using it on glass (and ceramics) you just need to follow the manufacturer’s instructions to treat it so it’s dishwasher safe (gentle cycle).

Plaid’s website states that the color can also be used for outdoor projects. I haven’t tested it yet, but I’m excited to use the color to create holiday fun outdoors and indoors.
They also do well in bottles. The front of the bottle has pretty lettering that makes it easy to find these colors in stores.
The back of each bottle tells you how to properly use and store the paint on glass or ceramic. You can find this information on the Plaid website, as well as some fun projects. The colors are also non-toxic and made in the USA, so you know they follow government guidelines for these types of products.

There are many colors and it also has metallic colors which I find very useful when making faux metallic dresses and costumes.
