The order of the different layers has been adjusted for more flexible mixing.
The cap layer is placed over all base layers, including the emission layer. This can be used e.g. simulate emissive textures behind glass, for example on a phone screen.

The long awaited Light Linking feature is here. Lights (and other emitting objects) can be set to affect only certain elements in the scene. Additionally, shadow mapping lets you control which objects act as light shadow blockers.
In the example above, the light binding is set so that the blue edge light and front sunlight only affect the character’s skin, ignoring the eyes and the environment.
